Re: Van Buren is missed

I was thinking something like the style in the Red Star comics. Without the magic/etc. Lots of attention to lighting, textures, etc. Still prefer isometric, though. BTW, what is your avatar? Devo? Buckaroo Bonzia? never heard of Red Star. i'd be plain happy if they just stuck to the exact same styl...

Re: Van Buren is missed

One thing I did like about Van Buren was the game engine - they got the look of the 2D games into a 3D engine. I'm hoping (but not expecting) Bethsoft's Fallout 3 to use the same look. i doubt bethesda is going to go the isometric way. it would really be quite something if they managed to use some ...

Haris was insulting people by saying they weren't "Fallout-pro" enough to play the mod when they complained. As the mod actually has little to do with Fallout's game-structure, I think Haris should stop making that remark. Don't you? Most definitely, it is always wise to avoid insulting t...

You're not listening. I know speech gives you more fetch-quests from the Kingpin and stupid shit like that. I don't care. Tagging speech in Fallout meant that I didn't have to fight, I could talk my way through all major situations. *This is simply not true for WM2*, which is one of the things that...

.. you've started us out in a situation in which we don't have a choice but to take a large amount of radiation, causing permament stat damage to my character no matter what I do.... Aside from the little red radiation warning on the bottom left of my screen, and occasionally having my character st...

If I recall correctly you can't open the gate yourself. Get yourself a daypass or citizenship. Steal one from the guard, for example. Just recently I tried playing through the games again with a character that possessed the brainpower of a ripened banana. In Vault City I was mistaken for a potentia...

This movie is insane.

I had no idea a couple of well placed explosives on merchants could give you free access to their wares with no repercussions... And that you could take down Horrigan without firing one shot.
Crazy.

I love you, Fallout.

I picked up a used copy of Fallout at a comp store back in '97 not having heard much about it. I had played a few CRPGs back in the day, and was at first skeptical that you could pull one off without resorting to undead skellies and elves and such. After stumbling through the intro rat fest, I made ...

You have the tracks? I'd appreciate it a lot if you could mail them to me (mr_teatime@duckandcover.cx or mr_teatime007 @ hotmail.com), or upload them somewhere where I could get hold of them, then put them up on DAC. The FO ones are the most important, but I wouldn't mind the PS:T or others either....

For years I've been trying to explain that those aren't the Fallout 2 files. Those are from Fallout 1. Every audio track that is unique to Fallout 2 is not in that list. You speak the truth, those are indeed from Fallout 1.. and missing the last track, as well ("Khans of New California".....
