diplomacy is nice, but combat is a necessity. Well, you cant talk your way out of Frank Horrigan, or can You?

talking to kill horrigan is:
make the turrets attack him, make sgt.granite+his men attack horrigan, and make all your NPC buddys attack him (will be a lot due to high CH)
so you would have an army... heheh. like 12+ turrets (iirc) and at least 5 NPC's, and i think sgt.granites squad is like 4-6 people, so thats like almost 20 people fighting horrigan ;)

at least 5 i think, if you rest to wait for him to die, you will just pop out of the pip screen and it will say he succumbed to the adverse effects of the chems

You can't talk Horrigan out of anything.

As for the pres, yeah you can assassinate him with superstims. I think you need to wait for about 10 minutes (to get the full -9hp damage instead of just 5). Given you know his hp you can do the math on how many superstims are needed... You did get the perk that tells you NPC's hp right?

5mins...

The first shot is 5, the second 4. Or something like that, all I really remember is that the total is 9.

I don't remember the times either, I just click on the pipboy and rest and cancel pretty soon, so I don't remember the exact timing. Given you can't rest though, you just wait for the second dose to take effect... Not as if you had anything else to do really.

Isn't it -3 after one minute and -6 after two?

Maybe... as I mentioned (and again for the third time) the important thing is the -9 total.

Has anyone of you tried that Mutated Toe-theory? That toe is supposed to kick Horrigans ass! (How that´s going to happen , I don´t know)

You can get more then one toe...I had 2 and feed it to a dog I found in a "Special Encounter." The dog however, was very bad luck.

Using an item takes 2 actions points... so even with 10 per turn, you'll still need about 20 turns to kill him with toes and also keep your distance point blank range...

Uhu, that sure is a handy trick!

I played characters akin to my own personality. Able to play along, but able to kick ass and burn down houses. Diplomatic combatants. Where words fail, the gun is the next option. And I travel in packs!
