Given that Call of Duty is from the same utter bastards who made Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, it undoubtledly sucks. MOHAA was over-scripted trash with arguably the most irritating, poorly designed and flat-out stupid level ever: the sniper/escort mission where you have to capture the King Tiger tank. This one mission really, really pisses me off.

First off, it was a sniper mission. It's a bombed-out village with about a jillion places for snipers to hide--and each spot is occupied by a sniper drawing a bead on your head. Sniper missions are not fun.
Second, it's an escort mission. You have to escort a bunch of utterly useless dicks through this horrible sniper nightmare.
Third, it's BOTH AT ONCE, GODDAMNIT! What kind of a twisted, sadistic bastard of a designer makes a sniper AND escort mission all at once? It's the very summit of fucking frustration!
Fourth, it makes no... fucking... sense. The point of that mission is that you're sent in to capture one--that's ONE--German tank to somehow turn the tide of the European campaign. Sorry, what? Care to explain how ONE measly tank--even if it was an excellent King Tiger, probably the best individual tank of WWII--is going to help? Furthermore, care to explain why the hell those dozens if not hundreds of American Shermans pouring onto the coast of France off completely unhindered by U-boat attack Allied convoys can't be used instead of ONE GODDAMNED KING TIGER? It makes no fucking sense.

Yeah, I hate MOHAA. I was enjoying it a lot, and the Omaha Beach level was a bucket fun, but the mission described above was utter shit and all the MOHAA missions were extremely overscripted.

is it just me or does morrowind have one of the worst combat systems ever placed in a game?
also the story is utter bullshit and its boring.

the only good thing about the game is that it is pretty to look at, if thats a good thing when the rest of the game blows.

As for new games to test at your system... get the Savage demo, or the Homeworld 2 demo. You need a moderate system to be able to handle them - my 2.4ghz with 512 megs of ram eats shit at them both because it has a fucked up laptop graphics card.

Definitely get Halo. It's very fun and it's a real good indicator as to how well your PC runs. I have an ass-tastic GeForce4 MX and it runs PERFECTLY just because my CPU, RAM, and motherboard rock.

lol calling geforce 4 ass-tastic. I remember like 4 years ago, when GeForce 3 was like the Mecca of graphics cards. One of my friends came up to me singing "Who's got a big bad GeForce 3? Who's got a big bad GeForce 3?" because he had just gotten one. I punched him in the face, and I didn't feel bad about it either, because he is French.

I played star wars galaxies when it came out. It pretty much blows. Theres nothing to do, and its pretty boring most of them time. The only times i ever had real fun were the scarce moments where a big imperial group would meet a big rebel group. I heard that its only gotten worse. Apparently they made every class but the bounty hunter and the commando completely useless. pretty shitty if you ask me.
