SKR is lead creative designer, IIRC.

I hope JE goes to Troika. Troika's supposed new post-apoc game looks interesting, and it'd be interesting to see Tim Cain and Josh Sawyer working together.

JE is probably going to go to Obsidian though, which looks to be in a good position right now. Obsidian has all the funding it needs from Bioware, and is going to start off with a splash through KOTOR 2...

But that just means it'd be a longer time until something original and creative comes out of Obsidian. However, Chris Avellone and Josh Sawyer have proven to be a good team (somewhat) in the past.

I think JE already said he's not going to Obsidian. But he also said he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he left the team.

Even if he did, IPLY probably would've fucked it up and probably made it look like JE fucked it up.

If we ever want FO3... which is obvious, IPLY will never deliver, especially by their movement to make FOBOS2 (apparently fobos hasn't been completed, and they're already making another piece of shit) then we have to wait until IPLY dies, the fallout license becomes available, and hopefully a company like Troika can purchase it.

While the license is in the slimey hands of IPLY/BIS, we can expect nothing but whoring from it, making these shitty second rate games out for console, and totally ignoring the fallout community.

As for JE, I wish him the best of luck, hopefully he will find happiness elsewhere =) becuase it seems that he probably would never find it with iply

I wonder if stress or the consequences of the game being poor got to him. I wouldn't want to be the public target of a backlash against Fallout 3 (or any game for that matter).

I wish him luck, but I now have less faith. He had some decisions I really disagree with like real time combat etc, but he was at least a decent designer...

Wait, what? How come I never hear of this right away? Apperantly you know something I don't. Well regardless, unless FOBOS does well in sales then it'll be like FOT2, just an idea until the plug is pulled.
