we have done a game magazine and would like your point of view on it.

Not too bad, the layout is ok but with a web magazine you should hotlink everything to make navigation easier. Especially with the table of contents so that I can just click on an article instead of having to search....

Also get a native english speaker to edit. You have a good handle on english but not quite good enough. It seems as if it was translated using Babelfish which is relatively poor.

It's alright. A bit heavy and a bit confusing, but it's alright. It doesn't give me the Oh boy, I'm gonna read this thing till my eyes bleed or the Doomsday arrives - feeling, but at least it serves it's purpose.

I think it's pretty tight, actually. Sort of slow on the load-side, though, even on a cable connection.

You must have a kinda shitty cable connection then. Loads in a flash (ha) for me. And I really dig the layout and junk, but the content needs work. Broken English is no good.

I'm sure it kicks butt in Norweigian, though.

Pretty cool magazine. I agree with JJ though that you could use someone with a good handle of the English language to edit the English version.

The layout is very well done but it could be better with hotlinks. I don't mind the sound, either. The Worms Forts review has some pretty neat sound effects on it. Nice touch.

Also, one suggestion, if I may: Make it possible to click the screenshots and have them enlarge over the page with a little [x] button at the bottom to close them.

I agree with all of the reviews - too (except for Mashed, as I haven't had the chance to play it). It's the first magazine I've seen to give Ground Control 2 a relatively average score. 60% for gameplay, too. It's exactly the score I would have given it had I reviewed it. It's just not good.

Nice review on Port Royale II, by the way. It's nice to see a magazine which appreciates gameplay. Though, you should probably fix the "plus" and "minus" under the rating as it's in a different language than English.

One thing that almost everyone points out is that the english is BAD. Thats true. We got a guy that translatates almost everything for us, but i think i pushed him a little to hard on the deadlines. So he didnt have so much time to complete his task. Anyway, that will improve until the next issue. The people that writes in the magazine is just regular people that speak their minds, so if a game sucks, it does in their poit of view. And that i think is one of the better things with the mag. No sucking up that is.

The screenshots:
We will try to make more out of the mag in the future. More interactive and that goes for the S-shots aswell.

As for Mashed:
I wrote that one myself, and u better belive every word! It is FUN FUN FUN! And its an apoc!

I read most of it, it looks really nice. Definately quality work. All the suggestions thus far I am with. English-speakers to screenshots, to not liking background sounds unless the option is there to remove them. Maybe it was and I'm just blind.. A+ work though.

i dont know how anyone can pay to look at stuff like that online, the birds whistling drove me almost to maddness. otherwise its good for a free mag, but not a fucking hope in hell of paying for it mate... sorry. If i dont have to pay for porn, why should i have to pay for anything else on the interweb? Besides actual physical goods that get delivered etc..

Nobody has said anything about paying.
There is ads in it so nobody needs to pay, its payed by the advertisers...

In short:
ITS FREE!
IT DOESENT COST YOU ANYTHING!

Pay for porn, do that.
But this mag is free...

I hate to pay for things to, so as long as im making this mag their wont be any money from the readers. Its a promise.
I will try to push for the PA-scene as well.
Its a lot of good mods // fanmade games out there that should be showed to the general public. Anyway, im glad for the feedback from you guys.
And I will try to get the english in the mag better.
