People would just avoid Wasteland and post dumb shit everywhere else. A better idea is to remove post counters from public inspection altogether, and leave just join dates and location.

For what good is the Location thingy anyway? There's usually just an unwitty comment instead of a real location.

An even better idea would be to hold an annual lynching fiesta to hunt down and destroy the spammers.

Well, the amount of spam has dropped since hat_man was knighted the asshat status. We still need a couple of lunatics to start hefty discussions in gd forum but other than that things are back normal. I don't know what effects hiding postcount will have, but if you do that, you better take off the titles(mine's a bit stupid) and the nuke icons too. They're rather useless, in my opinion.

The nukes are quite gay because the only people able to acheive a full bar a admins and mods..And mods only acheive a full bar in their own playgrounds. Used to be a form of status to fill those bubbles, but now it seems the best a regular can do is 4.5 bubbles.

It pissed me off when the change first took effect because I was almost at a full 5.

Then I forgot about it.

Now you brought it back up, and I had to rant.
