HALO, the game everyone here but me hated, will me cinematicized! And by no one else that Peter Jackson! Source.
I'm happy, because I liked HALO and I liked LOTR too. But I guess I'm minority so let's just make fun of fat people like Peter.

So what is this HALO movie about? B-movie star shooting animated mutant mongoose, then saves the plastic doll babe and wins the war for freedom of humans? Played the game for 20 seconds. Never again.

It's not like there was two hours of plot to Halo anyways. If anything, they'll have to pad it out some.

Directors can loose wieght because of all the stress of making the film or just being in a backwater shit hole like asia or something. Francis Ford Coppola lost 100 pounds during the course of filming APocopysle Now.

Peter Jackson and Halo just don't fit, you need someone who can make a solid entertaining action movie like James Cameron. If peter jackson did make the film it would be a comedy.

As much as I think Halo is overrated, it could make a good action movie because he has a metal suit and stuff.

Never really played the Halo single, I don't want an Xbox, maybe I should get it for PC.

28 Days Later was fucking good(from what I remember) and since Alex Garland is writing the screenplay, it gives me more hope for the movie than the "Incredible Peter Jackson". I never liked Lord of the Rings, can't even figure out why, I really liked the The Hobbit but it took me a year to finnally finish LotR...

Humanizing a man in a tin suit will be difficult, there is alot of potential there but it would have to be done really well or the whole movie is going to fall flat. They could always take the easy way out and write it so you see his face and there is an actor to associate him with but I think that would just shit on the character. It worked well in Robocop but the master chief is much more ambiguous, not seeing his face would benefit the character greatly. That uncertainty that comes with not knowing what/who he is one of the few things that as a character the Master Chief has gong for him. Vader would have sucked if we had seen his face in the first film and so will the Master Chief.
