macs are for pussies. First I got a blue screen and it turned off, then I turned it on about 20 or so times, it ran scandisk a bit and kept finding errors and sometimes it froze. But today it hasn't happened so looks like I fixed it.
oh well thanks anyway

I think it is this as my monitor kept turning itself off when my computer did and wouldn't turn on for a bit. I have a few lying around though, so no sweat dudes. My monitor broke two weeks ago. Before that, there were similar problems(turning on and off).
It sounds like your hard disk is dying. Does it make a clicking sound when your computer turns off/restarts? Run scandisk to see if you have any dead sectors and shit. If you have a faulty hard disk, it should break pretty fast after first problems. I experienced this 6 months after I bought my computer. Make backups before it's too late.Megatron wrote:First I got a blue screen and it turned off, then I turned it on about 20 or so times, it ran scandisk a bit and kept finding errors and sometimes it froze. Seems like it's ok now, but I'd still go look for a bios update.
For ze power control.
My mom's comp needed a new drive, so I put one in and then
didn't get around to updating the system specific shit for like
a year. So it wouldn't shut down completely by itself.
Not right away, anyway. Personally, I'm happy to hold the
button for 8 seconds, but she thought it was ghetto.
