Thay's actually a pretty retarded example. Somebody who's tired of swimming won't go back when he did 90% of the distance when the shortest distance is what's left. Go back to school, kid, you certainly didn't learn some of the basic stuff.

I'm starting to come to the conclusion that my last 3 years of post secondary education has amounted to shit.

I will now think about going to university in a field of which I will enjoy to no end.

All I have to say is, and listen closely:
Get an education in something you like, don't go for the one that makes the most money.

I came to that conclusion after a month last year, yee-haw!

but then, I spent a year doing nothing and what I'm doing now won't amount to anything, but it's fun anyway.

man im still in school at unlv and it is tight cuz we just sleep through class or stare at the computers and stuff then we go out and gamble HARDCORE.

i dont study for nothin and im passing all these music industry courses its like second nature man just hookin up sound equipment and listen to the ole ipod.

school is cool

It depends on the classes. But I tend to take school very seriously, and always have, even before I thought it mattered. But I tend to take my math and physics classes more seriously than something like Philosophy, since they are important for me, and Philosophy isn't. Plus the difficulty of a class and its significance to my goals are both important factors on how seriously I take it. Last semester I took theoretical physics II, modern physics II, and differential equations a lot more seriously than Intro to Philosophy. That's how it's gotta be. I had to dedicate a lot more time to those.
