That there's a hand cannon. I've never shot a 500SW, but the 45-70 I have shot and for what it's worth I would guess that the two are pretty much on par in terms of wrist wringing.

Now if I was out huntng, say, humans thorugh an abandoned factory, do you guys think I'd want to ditch the .44 mag Desert Eagle in favor of one of those monster 500's? Or do you think I'd want something in marlin or linebaugh flavor?

Of course this is all just hypothetical, and my only requisites are: handgun or smaller than what might be considered SMG size, and big bore of course.

This gun isnt about size or reliability, its the most effecient killing tool for armored personell short of going objective individual combat weapon or barret light fifty on their asses...

Besides, it should be rather hard to get hold of that weapon, let alone the ammunition for it.

No, and ...No. Did you even read the text between the pics? I know, I know its a pretty gun.

Did you even go to that site? First block letters on that page say "hk world exclusive!" and "video of hkg11 being fired". About the 3rd paragraph from the bottom confirms its future, as civilians now have access to caseless ammunitions that are being manufactured and sold to the populace.

The premium? Well thats another story. Cost not including black market premiums is about 4500eu, does not include ammo. Any gun can be bought on the black market, but at what cost? You are right about one thing, it would be difficult to obtain one.

I have shot AR15 for the first time this Sunday. It's really great, I just wish the caliber was at least .30 because when you look at it in person, .223 is PUNY. Recoil is very light, but the rifle does kind of jump up in your hands messing up your aim pretty bad. I also accidently 'bumped' it, hmm...

All in all, it is a great urban sniper rifle I guess, lol...

To be honest, I notice very little difference in recoil between my VZ 858 and my friend's SL-8. Being 7.62x39, and .223 respectively. The .223 has more of a halting "jump" to the recoil though, whereas I found my VZ to be a little more smooth, especially when bump firing.

The G11 -project made HK go bankrupt, IIRC. Some American company bought it or some shit, our big gun enthusiasts might wanna confirm this? The caseless ammo / G11-rifle was never finished. This "exclusive" was around, like Thor Kaufman pointed out, 2 years ago...

IBM made M1 Carbine, manufactured somewhere between January and March of 1944, so there's a chance it's been used to kill Nazis

If you had one free kill in your whole life, who whould you whack, and how?

I would probably kill someone important, kings and queens or a president - which one doesnt really matter. I dont personally know them and the kill would place a mark in history, not just fill some short notice in the local newspaper.

I would use a highly accurate sniper rifle with a very long fire range. To make the gun harder to track back at me I would try to make my own rifle barrel or modify it, the best would be if i bought the gun in pieces over a long period of time.

Then, on a sunny day when this unlucky person speaks to the people or celebrates his/hers birthday, a bullet would suddently appear from nowhere and hit him/her in the head.

Then, in some building or on some grass knoll far away i would rise casually from the ground, demounting my gun and placing it in a container and walk away.

Later that sunny day miles from the shooting i would melt the gun and pour the metal into a mould that i had made the day before. Once the metal had cooled off i would drive home and place a odd looking statue on the front of my house, a smiling gnome.

Its not likely that cannons round would "appear from nowhere", in fact they'd probably hear your supersonic clap from yards around the entire length of the trajectory.
