he Godfather is about as close to my idea of the perfect cocktail as any I've come across. Two ingredients, simple measurements, no garnish, no equipment needed besides a stir stick, alcoholic but not overly so, sweet but not too sweet, masculine with a slightly feminine edge, and perfect for just about any occasion. This is my Martini.Subhuman wrote:I don't get the title at all. But the blog could be an okay idea if you're an decent writer talking about interesting things, not just "here's what I think of ____". Godfather
1 1/2 oz blended scotch (J&B)
3/4 oz amaretto (Di Saronno)
Combine in a rocks glass with a few cubes, stir.
I used J&B, but I imagine a more hearty blend like Chivas or Gordon Highlander's would work equally well. Just don't use single malt.
