I watched On The Beach(1959) mentioned by PiP in some old thread. It wasn't very shocking as what you'd expect from an apocalyptic movie, but the atmosphere was rather quaint. The movie flowed nicely and it was more focused on human relations than nuclear hysteria and there was a handsome sub commander (Gregory Peck omg!). I liked how everyone was at ease with the looming apocalypse. :suicide pills:
