Fallout 3: Bethesda Forums

Since Bethesda decided to make Fallout 3, we figured we might as well have a forum about it.

Fallout 3: Bethesda Forums

Post by Dogmeatlives »

I think this should be news. This is over at NMA. Bethesda has opened up Fallout 3 forums. It is invasion time. Be polite but become a cancer in their system and the motherland shall prevail.

They lock their forums if people start having heated debates?!?!?!? What the fuck?! I can't go over there. It's scary. The only forums I go on are DACs. I'm not used to their iron-fisted leadership over there.

We are definitely a rough crowd compared to the pansies over there. It feels good to be superior.

P.S.: What are your names over there so I can see if I recognize any child abusers.
I'm Dogmeatlives obviously.

Don't bother with debating. Your thread will be on page 4 in 15 minutes.

I wonder what they qualify as swearing?

"Oblivion is not an RPG" *piip, swearing!* * piip, banned*

The whole forum over there makes me want to choke a bitch.

Here's a "special" sample from a beth boy earlier today...

In the thread "unwanted things in fallout 3" Here's what this guy actually responded with (his responses come after the dashes, obviously):

"3) pay-for content - I dont see any problem at all with that.
5) realtime combat - Whats wrong with real time combat, it allows more skill to be shown from a person
6) over-all-levelling - leveling balances the game
7) soil erosion - ?
9) dialogue about mudcrabs - not funny
11) character classes - this allows people to customize their characters to their liking
13) linear gameplay - I dont see any problem with that
14) quest compass - It allows you to find where you are going instead of having to cheak the map all the time
16) quest markers - well some things are impossible to find without quest markers, I believe that quest markers prevent hours of pointless serching
17) topic-click dialogue - this allows you to skip any alternate information that you do not want to hear about, and it allows you to learn things about areas and people. Another thing is that it allows you to activate missilaneouse quests
1 gamestart in prison - once again not funny
19) guilds - There is nothing wrong with guilds

You are obviousley not a true gamer, and dont relize what makes a game good or bad."

This game is going to sell a ton of copies, just not to anybody who actually gives a damn about the franchise. Sadly this kid represents the gaming majority these days, it's a sad state of affairs.

I've said it on another forum, I'll say it again, Lurking their forums feels like being a Pantera fan at an N'Sync concert. If it goes on much longer I might have a homicide on my hands.

There are a few TES fans that are fans and still have a brain, but most of them are too young, too stupid.

Agreed.

I think what I'll do next is start reading the oblivion fourm, find a list of common complaints, summerize them, then have a lot of 'just got teh game, wtf enemiz levelz uperz with me!' type posts.

See how much additonal discontent I can cause.

I'm still there as Anne G..Not much point in disguise. If they want to ban me they can. Really I don't care, but I'm attempting to provide the facts about the game and why Fallout fans want particular things. It generally gets ignored or kills a thread. The latter affect isn't so bad though.

I regged as "frissy" OMG!

I'm not going to clean my mouth, but I'm not going to troll either. Sarcastic and cynical, but still on the topic. If there is a topic that is.

I'm still amazed by the "quality" of the fans there. I know that the fallout community also has it's fair share of dumb fucks, but this is something totally new.

A large part of the fallout fanbase might be compere asshoo....err..glittering gems of hatred, but in that forum the large part doesn't even come close to that. More like "poo". I just hope that when things calm down that there will be a possibility to actually debate or discuss topics on the same level. :punch:
