1)How do you prevent the president from taking cover when he or the secret service sees/hears/shoots down that thing?
2)Building such device requires a lot of money, knowledge, planning and minimizing of external factors. You need inside information of the president's movements.
3)Your project would leave a lot of traces whether you want it or not, from debris from the crime scene to RC parts and eyewitness. How do you build and test a flying killing machine in total secrecy?
4)Hitting the president lethally seems very unlikely, not to mention operating the helicopter, magnums and self destruction mechanism simultaneously.
5)Your plan is so bad it deserves a fifth point.

Because most remote controllers don't have controls for self destruct/firing a magnum? You'd probably need video feed to know the general direction you're aiming at. Using multiple choppers, you should control each chopper separately if you want them to aim and hit at the same target.

Having fired bb's, paint balls and rifles, and assuming you have as well, i'm sure you realize how idiotic(or idgiotic, in your language) that sounds. Simply replacing a bb gun with a powerful and clunky firearm such as a Magnum does the trick, huh? And since we're talking the real deal here and not a fun RC game, you must calibrate the controls and the firearm so that it shoots dead straight as you'll only have one shot at it. Even that is wishful thinking.

Clarification: he's talking about a .22 Magnum, which aren't much bigger than a regular .22LR. You seem to have this idea in your head that he's going to mount some Dirty Harry shit to an RC copter and blast in there like Robot Hitler or something.

Still though, the foreigner is correct that this is all really needlessly complicated. Killing someone, even some sort of high ranking government official, doesn't have to be some weird James Bond type scenario.

The 7.62x54R and 7.62x39 have nothing in common except caliber (7.62x54R being a rimmed cartrige), but yes 7.62x54R is still used in the SVD, and Nagants are $89 at Big 5.


By the way, just bought a mauser 98k for $199, and yes it is worth double what a nagant is.
