The Movies, Music, and Games thread

Talk about music, movies, TV, books, other types of entertainment and what your vices are. Also, if you're addicted to the high you get off Aspirin, this is the place to talk about it.

Do you think that Angelina Jolie is pissed off at the octuplet mom?
I mean, she looks like her, she has more kids then her, and she's getting all the publicity lately. Do you think Angelina should hold a press conference and discuss this matter?

The problem is that :che:'s story is made into two 2+ hour movies when they could've compressed the shit into one movie.

I know the point with Part 2 was the failure and futility of :che:'s endeavors in Bolivia, but it didn't offer enough juicy material for a feature length movie or it was just poorly executed. There was enough dirty, unshaved men camping and guerrilla fighting in the first movie. I never felt entertained, nor did it offer any food for thought. The beginning was confusing and once I understood what was going on I was merely waiting for something to happen and then the end credits finally arrived.

Fucking overstretched pretentious movies, I hate those.

I'm just surprised to see Deer Hunter brought up in that "overstretched pretentious movies" category. There are like hundred of movies who'd fit in there more tightly then that movie.

I can think of few that fit the bill better. There is a 90 minute wedding scene that goes NOWHERE.

Then dear fucking god never see paranoid park...not my choice of movie, was at a party with the girl...indie fucking Oscar pretension the whole movie...basically 90 minutes of shots of a kid looking like he's going to possibly be upset. That's the movie. The story could have been told in five and was shit anyway.
...signatures? WTF?

Hahha. I actually have seen Paranoid Park. I love Gus's work and think there were some really cool things in the film, but for the most part it was a bit unbearable. That shower scene was art school 101 bullshit.
