Gosh, I'll go download it now and see what it's like.

Or, I just started on The Pitt, do I have to finish its questline before I can leave Pittsburgh? :M

I downloaded it, but I'm too busy playing good games to install it.

So far it's a lot like shooting rednecks and tribals in a Louisiana bayou. In and off itself that's not so bad except it's set in Maryland and not Louisiana.

at the very least Beth finally managed to release a Fo3 DLC that wasn't a complete clusterfuck.

If it's true (I doubt it), it only took them the actual game's release and, what, three or so previous DLC's to realize they ought to at least slightly bug test their games?
off topic? OMG YOU'VE BEEN CENSORED... yet you're still posting. MYSTARY!!!!

Does that mean we'll be waiting on another 3 actual Fallout games before they make a good one?

To be honest, I've only seen two mutant rednecks so far. In and of itself the concept isn't bad, except these look like stereotypical yokels with huge ears, weak chins and potbellies - it's pretty laughable seeing them ingame.

What I've seen is a shit ton of tribals, and they have a neat skin texture. Problem with them is they're all wearing the same outfit, and for supposedly being inbred they have a huge amount of racial and facial feature diversity. They also talk with some sort of light calypso accent, which is pretty fucking stupid.

One thing they did well was the level design. There's lots of interesting stuff that could conceivably be in a Fallout forest (looks like they ran with some ideas originally meant for Tactics 2, which would have taken place in a Florida swamp). Of course, I've only played it for about 45 minutes, so as with all things Bethesda there's plenty of time for it to go to shit.

It's strange to see so many DAC'ers supporting or at least playing Fo3 and the DLC's.

Is it like a car crash? You just can't look away?

I haven't played a single DLC, but played Fo3 with mods. It's kind of importent just so fgts can't go "omg u hvn't played it" as a way to argue the point when you tell them its a pilie of shit.

Agreed. But further support seems weird to me.
