Depression

Post by Jeff »

What do you like to do when you're depressed? I usually play a lot of video games, watch movies and tv shows, that's about it. I stay quarantined, stay safe, don't leave the house much, exercise is bad for your brain anyway, I eat microwave meals and other easy crap. Pass the time with minimum effort. Read if I can concentrate. That's it I believe

By the way are you using the European or the American date system i.e. is the Grand Old Circus on the 9th-11th of November, or the 11th of September-November? Just so I know how much drinkable water I should pack. If it's for two months I will probably duct tape a lot of those hydration bladders all over my body. Pro tip: freeze them before taping them on and you will be bulletproof for 24 hours.

I have been watching The Survivorman by Les Stroud, he says the biggest mistake he sees people do is not doing what I just described. Stay cold, stay bulletproof, stay safe! And God bless America.

Yes.

Yes, Les Stroud is wise knowledge since this will be surrounded by nature. Next neighbour will be 15 min by car. So better get your know how on If you would find yourself out of bounds in the Wilderness. Mandatory viewing naturally for all of DAK, indeed.

usually when im depressed I like to crack open a few brews and watch youtube algorithm for a while, stumble about feeling a sense of personalisation then move some furniture around, but let me tell you, if I was going to do it all over again I would dedicate my life to rpg

It is not too late. Buy a gaming laptop, kill your family. spend your days in an internet café and your nights in the sewers. You can build a portable power station to charge your laptop with human feces, there are instructions on-line.

I just finished a game called Dishonored in 2 days, how come I don't feel like I've accomplished something great in my life

That is the way, sewer organisation, looking forward to shooting some guerilla porn down in the tunnels :chew:

if youre depressed Jordan Peterson says you should build a treehouse and sit in there all day killing insects and writing poetry. Do you think our political views shape how we handle mental health wrongs?

Yes but I see it the other way around I guess: experiences, including mental health ones, shape political views as they're essentially value questions anyway. It's very hard to understand the mysteries of the mind of which you have no personal experience. Perhaps that's why so many lefties are certified nutc*ses and danger-haired crybabies, we have sympathy for each other. Didn't Jordan recently go into a coma from being too sad?

Maybe I would have been happier as a hunter-gatherer, the noble savage, the apex predator. I would have to worry about survival instead of worrying about the inherent nature of reality. Maybe I should start stalking people whenever I'm depressed, and when I feel good again I can mail them all of the data I've gathered, they can learn something about themselves.

its what they call a 'pickle rick' I believe, is being a right wing dumb *sshole a mental illness in response to thinking the world a piece of shit!!!

probably. Who is actually happy with the way things are? Knock knock, who's there, nobody there's  but yes jordan petersen drank a gglass of cider and died pretty much. One mans poison is another mans potion, you can use that so long as you credit Powered by phpBB © 2001, 2005 phpBB Group

when I'm depressed I also play video games, but it's much better if I call on my friends and play with them.

Walking is good, do you walk Gimp Mask?

Join a soup kitchenn and feed the homeless.

Get a dog. Dogs are happy and good company, they also enjoy walks.

I got 30 out of 60, that means I am an average normal person

I walk yes, I like walking. "Ey I'm walkin here" is sort of my motto, (c) Gimp Mask. I'm allergic to dogs. I've thought of the food shelter thing but I looked into it once and they have way more volunteers than they need. Sucks living in a pretty decent country.
