Goris

Post by Grey »

I've done the Navarro quest and returned to vault13 to pick up Goris (I've got my charisma increased in sanfran BOS outpost). When I've reached the vault no1 was there, as it should be, so I went down to 3rd floor, saw the replay of the carnage, and went to the library to see Goris.
Now when I talk to him he says he wants to avenge his pack. I offer him to join me, he agrees, the screen fades for a second, and I find myself near him, like i didn't talk to him at all. If i start talking to him again he says the same thing about avenging the pack and all that. I can't get him to join. every time i ask the screen fades and it's like i've never talked to him. that pisses me off. help me !

Sounds like a bug... ? I've never had any problems recruiting Goris, have you installed the patch?

It's an old unfixed bug. If you ever recruit Goris you can never return to vault 13 or you'll lose him permanently (like you just did).

There are better NPCs out there, anyway.

Anything is better then a fucking deathclaw, even Myron.

I mean, we all know the only good deathclaw is a dead deathclaw.
You must kill Goris & friends before they threaten humanity.
The fact that a few deathclaws became intellegent after enclave expariments doesn't mean they should be spared.

Funny, no, failed, yes!
I reckon the Death Claws should live
They did seem to be sincere in helping ppl, like how they saved the doctor and others
Even if they had a master plan to take over, thats what humans do to each other afterall

Fallout is not a utopian future like Demolition Man with happy joy-joy days
For me it about survival and revenge for ppl that wrong you
If the Death claws were evil why didn't they kill the guy who sabotauged them, they could have killed him and say he left or something?

The only way to be sure would to be nuke the whole planet so much it explodes in millions of millions of pieces
That way you can be sure noone will stab you in the back

It's totally irrelevant. All talking animals in any shape or form died shortly after Fallout 2. No talking deathclaws, no raccoons, no plants, no nothing. They all died. Period.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.
