Being the resource whore that I am...

Tuned down as much as I could. I would use 16bit but I allow myself the luxury of movies. ActiveSync is a bitch and keeps coming back, I need to reboot...
Interesingly enough, I have ~20 wallpapers. I just don't use them. Ever.
Lynxer, do I see TuneUp Utilities? Well met.

As a bonus, Winamp D:

I took a them from the internet and modified it a little and added widgets when I had fucking nothing to do. I'm still working on it when I see something I don't like.

Shrunken a bit so it'll fit nicely. I also put very little on my desktop, not so much for the neatness thing but more because if I'm likely to have a browser window or mIRC running at any time, so it's more convenient to use quick launch or the start menu than to minimize whatever I'm looking at.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

SP2 sucks, how?

Don't listen to them Linux geeks. My system is a lot faster now that I've installed SP2. I can't give you a technical explanation, but it feels like that and you really sense stuff when handling machines.

I like to cram as much shit as I can on the desktop. I forget things otherwise due to senility. I haven't noticed much difference between with and without SP2, other than the security center thing.

I liked SP2 but it's not that big of a change. Once everyone got past the compatibility and installing problems, I installed it, it helps, but nothing exhilarating(like everything in Windows). Any computer you buy now will have it anyway.

If you're happy with SP1, don't use IE and have a good firewall, then I fail to see a reason to install it and maybe fuck everything(you can always reformat and reinstall).

hey nico, link me that qcd skin you're using. thanks in advance!

by the way, setting windows to one-click-mode slows me down, because of the artificial delay when opening folders and things.

I don't have a link to it, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding it in the built-in skin browser.

It's called 'minimalizm'. If you sort the skins by size, it'll either be on the bottom or the top of the list (depening on whether you chose descending or ascending :salute: ).

Holy shit, for some reason that Fallout 2 icon is awesome.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Can you give it to us? If it's in .PNG, I'll make it into .ico for Windows users. I have to use the icon of the .exe for Linux...

My wife loves Syberia. She hated the second one...Frankly, I didn't much care for either.
