Weren't you something like minus four years old when "controversy" came out?

Yes, but I remember "Cream" and have done my research on the earlier stuff.

I like the Black Sabbath/David Coverdale version of smoke on the water. Apart from that Deep Purple is soso D:

I'll give it a try

Actually I'm not sure if David Coverdale joined in the sing along, but that's what Kazaa said back in the day.
Anyway, here goes http://rapidshare.de/files/34457583/Bla ... r.mp3.html :icecream:

Granted, if you arent a fan of long solos, thats a good chunk of what they do...but anyway, here are some nice video's of them, similar to the stuff on MIJ (theyre much better live than in the studio):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KnTAdfdcWI (slow jazzy)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVfitsb1uwc (instrumental with nice organ)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R78m5tdbSuI (hard rock kinda thang)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3eutKEqyeM (guitar solo)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3OkkDHh7pc (cover of Lucille)

edit: oh, and thanks for the file. Except my computer is screwing it up. But thanks anyway.

the best album ever is (prolly) 'scientist rids the world of the evil curse of the vampires'. way chiller, heavier, and more badass than anything else has ever aspired to be and it's from 1981 - that's right kiddoes, the time of Prince! B)

anyway should I delete or hilariously edit all of Darryl's posts in this forum? Discuss.

not exactly the album i'd listen to on drugs, and hardly the best album ever.
juno's sound clips start from a weird point, like the middle of the track? :brushteeth:

Beatles
Abbey Road B-Side, on vinyl, through Klipsch speakers.
Or, turn on the subwoofer, fiddle with the effects, and crank up OK Computer on compact disc.
More vinyl fun: Johnny Cash's live albums, the prison stuff I mean, Maynard Ferguson, even fucking Downward Spiral sounds great on vinyl.
Course, Downward Spiral sounds great on cd, too...

Throw in a baggie of that stuff I've never tried before :? and you've got yourself an awesome fucking evening
