Oh so I take it you don't think Power Armor is good?

My personal favorite is the naked dude packed with C4... I've only done it a few times, but it works and it's funny. Load up someone with C4, find the enemy, set the timer low, run into the middle of them and get mowed down... wait... explode. A friend and I were messing around and I used this tactic... we were acutally playing without armor so it worked really well... plus it's funny to see a bunch of people gather around your corpse expecting to get something good then it blows up. I also did it once and managed to live long enough to run next to the person, start punching then explode. Works with Dogs too, plus they're low enough points that it doesn't matter much to loose them, and *I think* they can have higher perception than any other char, so... with high enough sneeking... you *can* sneek undetected and set off a doggybomb. Bramin are also awsome characters... they tend to confuse people for a few moments before they are blown into tiny bits of beef.

Alothough it has been answered, a reaver is a cult of whacko people worshipping technology. And my favorite race is, BRAHMIN. Screw deathclaws and ghouls, the only brahmin you can choose kicks ass! Go betsy the two headed cow!

Ghouls cant wear Power armour...You do realize i was talking about ghouls, dont you?

YES THEY CAN. Make a MP ghoul, and give him envorimental armor or Power Armor, they can wear those. They CAN"T wear leather armor, metal armor, or telsa armor.

That, however, makes no sense at all.

Environmental and metal are of about the same size.

Well it works, try it for yourself.

I would expect the Environmental armour to work with ghouls because if you look closely at the sprites for firing a rifle. The suit and the ghoul are exactly the same action.

That explains it but doesnt justify anyhing. Ghouls should either be able to wear all regular armor, or none at all.

True. There doesn't seem to be any real reason why a Ghoul wouldn't be able to wear armour. It's not like it's too heavy for them. The metal armour might be but not leather armour. Very strange idea that, ghouls can't wear armour... :? they could in FO2 when Lenny joined me. He was wearing all kinds of armour.

Yeah, I can understand why they wouldn't be able to wear metal armor, but not leather.... and they don't really need enviornmental armor... but I guess since there's almost no use for the stuff they had to force someone to wear it. But power armor makes sence, since it increases strength it shouldn't take much to wear.

I have two words for you guys: Game Logic.

Have you ever noticed that Ghouls can only wear types of armor that is either specific to their race or doesn't show any part of them? There's your answer: MF didn't have time/energy/disc space for yet another 20 meg. sprite.

So...I'm not the only one who thought that. Although the tank looks alot different to the chasis of the Churchil tank that they mounted them on. But they also mounted them on the Sherman tanks also, didn't they?

 Apparently not.

AFAIK they didn't mount flails on the Churchill, although there were other mine clearing variants (and lots of 'em). There was the Matilda Scorpion that was a British flail tank, and yes, there was a Sherman version.

If you've got any information on a Churchill flail tank, I'd be interested to get a link on it. :)

Cheers,

Ack, nope. I don't have any info on the churchill flail, I get the Churchill and Sherman tanks mixed up rather easily.

But I do know that they made all sorts of different designs for the churchill, including one that could lay a temporay bridge and a mortor one.

Yes, they made scads of variants for it. The ones you mentioned, plus the Crocodile armed w/a flamethrower and a lot more that were really just variations on various themes, the main difference being the actual nomenclature of the equipment used on them. The Royal Engineers made a lot of use of the Churchill.

Well, I spoke to my dad about it, he says that the Churchill tanks did have the flails.

So, I've dug around for info on the net and found....

this interesting article on the Churchill tank, which doesn't prove my assumption but is rather interesting (well to me, anyway). Has stuff on cannon upgrades and such.

http://www.btinternet.com/~chris.shillito/devtext.htm

What else could I dig up....not much

As you see, I'm pretty hopeless at finding things on the net.

YAY!!!!!!!

FOund it, although not on the internet (actually, I did. But it was a site on model tanks :p )

Found it in a thing called a "Book" which I checked out from a libary, although it was only about 3 lines, it did go on about the churchill tank having those flail thingys.

I feel sooooo proud :D

I was in the Imperial War Museum (famous museum in London) and I saw a Churchill tank with, guess what?, flails on the front. I knew it was a Churchill because it said so on the information plaque.

Wow...cool. Wouldn't mind checking out that place one day.

And we all know that plaques NEVER lie!
