the new ones suck as much as herve and uwe combined.
watched this weird jabonese futuristic postapo movie, casshern. war. japanese soldier practising asian total war w german ww2 helmets. shooting everyone. the old, women and children. tiny flashes of war flashbacks. flammewerffers and screaming men. a bit steampunk feel too. hen the course turn to superhero action. weird but mildly pleasant suprise. 5 outta 6. either youll like it or you will vomit perpentually with black tar liquid oozing out sor hours until your body dehydrates and finally falls into to a pile of convulsing grey matter.

Bring Me the Head of Mavis Davis was a funny little Brit-comedy. Not especially groundbreaking but not bad, either considering its original home in the wals-mart bargain bucket.

I would have to say that all six of the Star Warses sucked, only the first three (4, 5, and 6?) were infinitely better than the implosion which was the last three (1, 2, and 3? What-ever) The Dune miniseries was good, and the first six Star Treks were, more or less, watchable. Some (2,6) more than others.
pot, high school
Yeah, pretty much between the first few seasons of UCB and Strangers With Candy, that was some of the funniest television I've ever watched in my final and post-secondary education years. High school, what a nightmare. 1999, Oh my God!! We're seniors and we're like the last seniors ever in the twentieth century!! LOL!! Wonderful Tonight and Sweet Home Alabama!! My school had a football team called the spartans, so everyone watched those terminally unfunny cheerleader characters on SNL and aped the routines up and down the place. Between that, and the absolute worst and overplayed classic rock songs being the class goddamn theme songs (rednecks who wanted to be burbclavers), yeah, vices were particularly attractive to me as a way to ease the pain. And I didn't know pain until I had to know people who didn't commute to college. Holy shit...

i saw the episode where at the start some Jedi (?) are pursuing some other space idiots and shooting laser beams out their ships, the "commander" is grey haired and a total idiot and doesn't know jack shit, his protege is even dumber. then there is a lift, they get out of it, talk soap opera dumbshit, then there is a fight with another old man, someone wins.
the end (for me)

maybe that wasn't ep 1 but it sure was enough to know that I don't want to see any more of that :chew:

of the original series, 'the return..' (now named episode 5) is kinda good (obvious choice), and of the new threesome the third episode is a decent action drama, if you're into this kinda stuff. (ooohhh flashy! wow nice robot! omg what explosion! roXoring spaceship! etc)

one of the best things in the SW series was seeing Yoda in the orignal series, and then seeing him lightsabre-fight in the new series. The contrast is so lolomg dumb
I think if that's the best part it says a lot about the overall quality eh
