the end (for me)

maybe that wasn't ep 1 but it sure was enough to know that I don't want to see any more of that :chew:
Gosh, do I like it when mass culture does not reach all of us good people. :chick:

Is that man's brain exceptionally small or is the rest of his head just very large in comparison?

also, the new isis lp, "in the absence of truth", is incredibly good. i may have to get it on vinyl. and i do want to see them live so very badly. :dog:
black dice - creature comforts sounds good. not too harsh. that isis is very gut.
must recomend Grey Wolves. especially the cd 'blood and sand'. also get : Grunt / Cloama - Valkoinen Kuolema / Belyi Smertz. harsh cold noise. also worth trying is Strom ec (anything). live noise happenings is the shit. less idiot kids. more quality and dB. Ja.

I watched A BOY AND HIS DOG yesterday. Funny movie. Especially the ending rules!

That's a brilliant movie. It's one of the inspirations cited by the creators of Mad Max.

"Albert" (as called by Blood) called Blood "Dogmeat" and I was so OMFG T3H FALLOUT emo at this point.

But the whole movie reminds me of Fallout.
The traveling, the fights, the dog, the town, the Vault...
The vault is so fucking sick. With the "milking machine" and the freaks inside. Brilliant.

And the movie is so... honest. The rapes. The hunger. The whole setting. BRILL-E-ANT!

Favorite PA movies:

Mad Max 2
Omega Man
A Boy And His Dog

do you like black dice/wolf eyes, mr. trauma?
Check out Sunburned Hand of the Man, preferably live if you can swing it. Ridiculous but fun noise.

Isis is very nice. Like a kinder, gentler Neurosis.

a scanner darkly. 6,6 out of 6. bestes movie of the year. too much of dopey dope to choose from. the 'animation', youll hate it or like it as it looks pretty dope. also, get the audio book from the interweb. good stuff to listen to while being the drug fiend of the too clean grocery store.

It was only playing at one theater in Buffalo when it came out, and by the time I had the chance to cheque it out it was gone already :(

I will have to examine it in some other fashion.

Yarr, not in theater anymore 'round here, but the fact Keanu Reeves' in it in some way makes me think I won't like it.

I've long wanted to get hold of that movie.

I watched Borat and München today. The first one was a bit disappointing but Spielbergs flick was pure dynamite, as always.

These folks will clean your ears out:

Some of the loudest shit I've heard in a long time. Cross shoegazer with sludge-metal, that's Nadja. Start with "Truth Becomes Death," and go from there (if you can... a lot of their stuff was mainly CD-R releases).
