I read quite some time ago that there was 2 Fallout games in early development. 1 of em was more than likely Lionheart with it being called Fallout Fantasy, the second should be Fallout3 but is probably FO:T2.

My suggestion would be for the character to have more detailed armour (like in Morrowind) and it should show on the character model. i.e. if they have leather armour and a metal shoulder pad, the character should HAVE leather armour and a metal shoulder pad.

Just like them. Create a spinoff's sequel before creating the awaited sequel to a successful sequel (did that make sense?). I wonder who thought that marketing strategy up.

maybe FO:T2 could have characters who spoke when selected - next i'll be suggesting more character interaction...

I'd like to see raiders and rats both like in the first fallout... and i'd like a chance to be bad... real bad... i'd also like to see a much less linear game than tactics was...more options, possibilities, endings etc... and more fleshy things to kill. Killing bots was cool and all, but i gotta say i'm much more for turning something into hamburger than scrap. Maybe Tactics 2 could come back to the westcost and play out some plotline like... i dunno... a few enclave generals in the field decided after the elmination of their leadership to ally with raiders and use tech to enslave the people. Rogue general taking command of some enclave forces? but i'd almost bet that it'll be BOS midwest vs BOS west. Depending on how the plotline is played out, you might have to kill yourself from the first game (if you became the brain). That would be interesting, now wouldn't it? Oh yeah, and I liked in FO2 that you could breakdown a door/strike a door/attack a door/blow up a door... if it has to be an action game, i want more stuff to blow up, but i'd like more roleplaying... whatever.

i think this must be the time line in FOT2

Fallout - 40 years later FOT - 40 years later Fallout 2 - 40 years later FOT3-
40 years later Fallout 3

I'd like to see separate villages, ones that are not missions but there will be things to do in them if you manage to find them.

If they are making FoT2, i relly hope they make countermeasures to hexxin, or at least try to.

Hexxing, as I understand it (I may be thinking about the wrong thing here), is the process of using a hex editor to beef up your teams statistics and power and knocking down the enemies power to make the game as easy as it can be. It is hard to prevent that but it can be done. I've done it on one or two of my games that I've made.

I'd like to see better AI in FOT2, especially for my own guys. Giving them brains enough to find cover when some sniper is picking them all off would be a definite plus, and better use of their weapons when I'm not controlling them right then.

My opinion is that the ENEMY should have better AI, not your squad.

You are your squads Intelligence, or for some ppl, the lack there of.

This was a long time ago, maybe Gareth can confirm it or not, my memory is a little shady but i think MF were working on FOT2 for Interplay but the project was cancelled in its early stages.

Yeah, it was in production and then canned. And it was definitely going to be new and improved, and a bit more Fallout-y, but I doubt it will ever see the light of day.

They should make it so we can also be bad. :D

Also, they should include Jumping

And they should put more weapons in there.... Mmmmm.

They should also make it sorta like FOT 1 and 2 so that you can actually say stuff to people to make them mad, or if you want...Happy.

And also, different perks.

Yea, i like the idea of being able to lift both feet at once. Having to walk all way around a fence to cross a space several feet in diameter isnt right. I want to climb over it.

-A less superficial system when it comes to arming your squad. In stead of body armor consisting of just one unit with all parts included i would like to be able to apply several combinations of gloves / boots / jackets / helmets etc.

-A fairly realistic assortment of firearms. This rules any fusion-powered equipment out. Just gaspowered rifles like the 10mm smg and ak112 as featured by Fallout2.

-DIALOGES!!!!!!! no monolog preachment to which i can merely listen.

Yes, just like most every RPG in existence. Fallout is the exception here, not Diablo II.
