Why was there no nudity in the game? :(

Not that I'm aware of.
The screen will just fade out when you have sex, then fade back in.

remember, horrific deplorable violence is okay but nudity isn't.

Might've netted an adult rating if ther was nudity.

FO and FO2 have the highest rating for a video game that I'm know of. M for Mature, which for what I'm aware of, is for ages 17 and up.

There is an A for Adult rating, but I don't think any things gotten it before.

That's stupid though.

Fading the screen when you have sex, I bet if they faded the screen when your gun shot or when someone died noone would've bought the game.

Killing isn't as offensive as sex, to some. Just go ask some religous fanatics or world leaders for that matter.

I think that if they included nudity it would have ended up being classified as pornography.

Which would have utterly destroyed the amount of sales they made.

The more restrictive a rating it gets the less stores its in thus less sales.

The point is, Fallout is a game built on killing but not sex. Showing the act is not necessary.

And the sex really was over done in FO2, anyway.

Even the designers of the game have admitted as much.

It is one of the eccentricities of U.S. censorship. Slider is correct. In the U.S., graphic violence is more acceptable than nudity or implied(much less real) sex. You could make a movie where Bruce Willis single-handedly destroys New Jersey and that has a sex scene, and there will be more of a fuss here over the nudity.

I've never really understood why Western religion makes such a big deal about the "evils of the flesh", to use an utterly stupid phrase.

I mean, I would much rather someone have sex with me than kill me, I can tell you that much.

I would rather have that also but, in a game I would rather have violence than sex.

I think most people would.

Which is why almost everyone hates the Leisure Suit Larry games.

I don't know. If it was another guy, I think I'd rather have the violence. Violence WORKS for me.

Well, that's the kick, Condie! If you LIKE IT it's bad, but if it MAKES YOU SUFFER it's good... Get it? Huh? Well go to some monastry and check out the monks - you'll understand.

And anyways the US laws about cencorship are soooo stupid!

You can have animated violence in form of CUTTING your enemies with a KNIFE (by yourself, in the game, you know) it's rated as TEEN AUDIENCES but if there's an INTROVIDEO with MACHINEGUNFIRE then it's rated as MATURE AUDIENCES.

This is true, go and ask the Renegade developers if you don't believe me!
