Where is the "wife" i keep hearing about in Fallout 1 or 2. It said you can:

"get married and pimp your wife for extra money."

So, where is she and who?

I don't think you can get married in Fallout 1. But you can in Fallout 2. There are two youngsters, brother and a sister, in Modoc who are both willing to marry you if you choose the right dialogue. The thing is, that they'll marry you no matter what your character's gender is.

But they suck as NPCs and still reserve one NPC slot. You can't make them wait nor can you ditch them (by any other way than getting a divorce or killing them).

You can sell your spouse to Metzger in the Den, too.

By 'pimping' them you actually use them as a fluffer at the porn studio. $3 a session, bitch.

Oh and if your spouse dies you can tell the father and he has a heart attack.

You can pimp the chick to the guy scouting for chicks in The Hole at the Den

But if she's got a black eye after a hard day of work, load the bastard with hot lead. That's what I did.

Is it possible to do that with your husband as well? Pimp him to various people, et cetera... I've never tried, and now I'm curious.

IIRC you can only "pimp" him to the Golden Globes Studio as a "fluffer". It seems that even people in the Den have standards and don't wont pay for the services of people that sneak off in the middle of the night to "diddle" w/the Brahmin...

Yes, you could make more money that way. But since you're probably already playing a high-CH female you can simply make money of that chap in the Den yourself. (Then again, it might be better for your self of well-being if you to send Miria into the clutches of that hunchback rather than surrendering yourself into his clutches...)

No you can't. If you get seperated you can however give the old man a heart attack and give the other sibling control of the slaughter house.....or kill them too

And Bounce said I could pimp myself off to the guy in the Den, not my husband. Which makes the husband even more of a liability, and another argument to marry the woman. Let it be know that Raksha likes money.

But I could still sell him to Metzger, right? Which of course brings up the interesting question of whether I could have sold him to the slavers outside NCR as well.

I have ANOTHER fallout wife problem.

When i get to the right dialouge, she ends up... taking her clothes off. The screen goes black, and, nothing! I hear the fallout music still playing and 15min later, still nothing!!! The screen remains black! I have Version 1.02 and i'm using windows XP.

According to Per Jorner's walkthrough you can sell Davin off in the following locations for the following amounts:

• Metzger's: $900
• Servant Allocation Center (Vault City): $200 (doubled w/succesful Barter Check; typo indicates he's offering $250)
• Big Jesus (New Reno): $200 (only if your character is a slaver)

I didn't see anything about him being sellable to the slavers in NCR. Note also that Miria always brings in higher prices.

One other thing: Miria and Davin can both be pimped to Trappers in exchange for Gecko Pelts...

So, all things considered, the fun of seing him explode makes shooting him more worth while than selling him. I'll have to remember to go for the sister next time.

On a completely unrelated note, I had that blackout happen to me a couple of times the last time I played through the game, especially when my computer had been up and running for a very long time, so I assumed it was simply an matter of not enough ram to go around.

patching your game to 1.03 should fix it. I had similar problems until I patched.
