Yes I´have the same problem but I use Win XP. The thing with the lights is not very correct. You must modify the offset 0x34 and 0x38. 0x34 decribe the size of the ligt field too min. 1 0x38 must 0x00010000 And then the ligt shined. My problem is that in my new map the Slot machine dont work...

You can copy the bytes with an Hexeditor and insert in the new place.
So you can make new elevators.I think.
Where I can find a list with the elevator typs?

Mhm I know by ladders is so that the offset 58 is for the map ID and 5C is for the player positions but by elevators is it very difficult because the Script is only for the doors from elevators and offsets absent. That mean that the elevators don´t navigate by Scripts and don´t by of...

The navarro Map.
I don´t override navarro.I make the editing map as new map into the game.
I can enter the new Map but when I change the level he load the navarro map.

Hi
I have another problem with my map.
When I exit the map and come again Fallout load the original Map and not my new Map.
Is the script the problem or must I edit the map file with an Hex Editor.
And who, was I must do modify?

Mapper and the Inventory

Hi
I have made a new map but when I modify the Inventory from a cupboard or anything Fallout crashed when I entering the map.
Is this my blame or a problem from the mapper??

Excepition EInOutError in module IPP.exe at 0000D338.
File not found.

But the file is in the direction.

Ich have decompile a Script to a ipp file.
Then I have modify the file.
Now I want recompile it to an int file.But it work not.
I use the comiler/decompiler.

Is a Mapper in fallout2.exe?

Hi
I have disassambled the fallout2.exe and I found often the word Mapper in it.Can it be that the Mapper is hidden in the exe?

And still a question.In fallout2/scripts is an program his name is compare2.com for what is it?
