Personally I never understood the reasons why folks felt Fallout 2 was inferior to the orginial. I actually thought the pop culture references were short diversions that were fun and enjoyable and didnt detract from the main story at all. I think the real compairson is after you finished everything ...

Apparently Fallout won't even load now. It just crashes as soon as the program loads. BAH! Time to reinstall. Acutally my system exceeds the min requirements and it does this for me too. Its kind of like a toss up if the game is going to work or not. At this point I just wish they would fix it with...

• Music seems to fit game and is enjoyable, nice variety between the enclave station, GNR and the classical station ---the radio, you mean? The ambiant (spl?) music is usually pretty terrible, but I like the old songs they play on your Pipboy radio. • Size of world feels mostly right, possibly ...

Combat is probably one area where with VATS that is possible they did something better than the originals. lolwat Dont get me wrong I enjoyed combat in the orginials but with I dont think combat was Fallout's (1 and 2) greatest strength. That always was in its story and ability to be such a rich en...

Have you ever played the originals? Seriously now... Have you? HUH PUNK?!? Yes I have played both games more times that i could possibly count. Both when they were orginally sold and nearly every year since. I usually end up playing both at least once or twice a year. Mostly because they are still ...

Ok I have just about finished the game (in the very end of the last quest) so I think I am ready to correct my previous thoughts… I still think the game is fun and enjoyable but I have definitely changed my earlier assessment. At the time I had about 20-40 hours in so I figured I knew the game pre...

Remain silent, noob. Fallout had UNIQUE talking heads. And otherwise people were 'faceless' and if there was something remarkable about their faces, it was described in an almost poetic manner, so one's imagination (something kids nowadays have lost completely) did a pretty good job in the end. Don...

Just spent my day off playing and I have to say I am surprised. I like many other fallout fans felt there was little chance for it be a great game. Yet so far I have to say they have met my requirements of what I would call a great game. The few complaints I have so far would center around issues wi...

Just got my copy today.... One thing of interest was the manual. The cover was an inmaged copy of the Fallout 1 manual. That in itself would have been cool had it been spiral bound and filled with orginial material. Instead its of same size and shape of normal PC game manuals. So I guess it was kind...

Silly me and here I thought 10\10 was perferct... I love the new math... So does Beth get to purchase the score or just the words in the review. Or do they charge more for both. And speaking of that how about the gaming mag industry just go ahead and standarize their method and make all overall scor...
