Well, as far as the merchants in Den go, keep them alive for three reasons:

DRUGS
DRUGS
DRUGS

They have a steady supply of Buffout and Jet. Not important if you play a goody-goody, or if you play save/load, but a BIG deal if you decide to play with an addiction.

So... how are you progressing, EG? Haven't actually tried that character yet. Still working out an "evil" poser which, honestly, I haven't re-tried in a couple of weeks. A variety of Life's unusual events, coupled with personal responsibilities, have kept me from my favorite RPG. Sorry. L...

Sneak, Repair.

As long as they don't spot you, it shouldn't affect your overall rep with the Wrights.

Man, that looks terrible. What are the odds of making it to the oil rig without accidentally blowing my face off along the way?

paynetothemax Well I"m not so sure about the energy weapons, but for the big guns it might be cool to get a potato gun and launch rocks at people. And maybe some toaster zapper thingy for the energy weapons.... requiem_for_a_starfury It would be nice if they really limited the guns for once and...

I think an INT of 4 is enough to make you an officially "stupid" character, as far as NPC interaction quest availability goes, but I'm not possitive.

Hmm, stupid, unlucky, & jinxed?

I thought high luck and jinxed would just make others have lots of critical failures. You would be somewhat resistant due to high luck. That would make sense, but I would be going for just the opposite. I would like to try playing a hopelessly accident prone, unlucky bastard. I think the results wo...

High luck+Jinxed is worse? My intentions for creating such a character would be to have the "unluckiest", most accident-prone guy in the world. This should make for a much harder, funnier game, I would think.

How does Luck affect the Jinxed trait?

Oh yeah, it's Mrs. Wright that won't talk to you with the pornstar, slaver. Mr. Wrights son wouldn't let me in to see him, which could be for one of many things I guess. I just sneak past him to talk to Mr. Wright, who doesn't seem to care about you're past.

Is it harder to join mob families with childkiller? I believe that only applies to the Wrights. Pornstar will also get you banned from the Wright household, as well as Slaver. They're only good for getting the SAD location, so if you don't plan on doing that, fuck 'em. But if you're playing a good ...

One dead kid, no more Champion. Plus you get more bounty hunter encounters (Childkiller!), a must have for the evil character.

Yea, I already tagged small guns, so I've got that. I guess I'll just give my energy weapons to someone else. Someone else here said this, can't remeber who, but it turns out Myron does get pretty good with energy pistols. I never would have thought it possible. Thanks (sorry, forgot who said it.) ...

Considering the "groin" area is more than just genitalia, there should be consideriable damage from a critical hit from weapons, because of the major arteries. I don't think it should effect your karma, though. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do to survive. I don't think anyone would look down o...

This just doesn't seem right.

I'm playing evil, I have -835 Karma, and just recently I somehow picked up the "Champion" trait. I'm sure I've killed more good people than evil people. Besides, evil people kill each other all the time, that doesn't automatically make them good. Falche doesn't have a way to get rid of thi...

Lenny! I've played FO2 a ton of times and I've NEVER recruited him, good or evil. I know that even though other ghouls might want you dead, you can still trade with the arms dealer in gecko (until the destroyed reactor kills them all). I'm gonna have to try Lenny. Ditto on melting Marcus. Thats too ...

It'll be nice to know how much evil the NPCs on the player's team can sustain til they brake and leave the party. general info will be nice. detailed info about each NPC will be nicer. no reply will be nice too :) Short answer: I don't really know, most times I'm too evil to recruit the goody-two-s...

What a lot of people don't realize right away is how much depends on affordable fossil fuel (gasoline, oil). All the things stocked in your local stores, and their prices, are directly influenced by the price and availability of fossil fuels. The higher the price of fossil fuels get, the more it will...

Graphics be damned!! If someone made an FO3 with the same old FO/FO2 graphics, I'd still shell out the "current market price" for the game as long as the story and gameplay were great. Besides, the rough looking graphics significantly add to the overall mood. FOT looked too damn clean for ...
