My tour of duty in Afghanistan is about up. Just thought I'd drop in and say, 'Hi'.

Yeah I came a long way, right?

No, not dead, but spent a good time recovering from an IED blast. I now have some scars to tell my Kids about it.

I know I been missing a while. But I am back for a while.

I am back!!!!

Still in the Army, lots and lots of training. Been training hard. Getting ready for the next deployment to Afghanistan!

Fallout 3 had me for a bit... but of course, I am never missing... Just on hiatus!

Yup... They are seperate. If a Private someday wants to be a general, he can always go from Green to Gold or attend the Officer Training Course, in where he can get commissioned. But there is no straight path. Maybe in WWII that happened, but not anymore.

@rapidpeanut As far as I know, there is no ban on Generation Kill. You can get the book at an Post Exchange in Country... and we have enough resourceful people here that have it on cable. My non-Infantry friends who work in the office buy cable from the contractors. Hell have you ever seen a series ...

Funny been out in the Middle East for two months... I have yet to see one Scorpion or the infamous camel spider.
