He took part in the Manhattan-project, creating the first-atomic bomb, and after it the H-bomb... hew wrote a lot of theories, and it is possible that without huim, there won't be any atomic power plants....

FO maps are old, and buggy, and too complex... and why should IanOut have a Fallout Map editor if it uses an own Map system...
For modder: there will be a Fallout2IanOut map converter... but I don't think there will not be a IO2FO converter... (there is no point in making that...)

Questions about the Skill system in Fallout...

Does anyone know how the skills are converted into "real-life stats" I'll explain: for example... if you've got a small guns skill of 25% how does FO calculate the hitting cahnce, critical chance, etc... IO currently uses a skill-independent (and very lame) conversion, and those things are...

Hmm... let's see... -- "You can play the game until Necropolis. At the end you will get a small message in the status bar." The main mod shipped with the game was only intented to be a hungarian parody of the original one (Fallout1)... it was only translated to English, to show you what th...

Odin said from NMA th...

As well as the skill system. Unfortunately I don't know how the system of FO works, so some information about it would be very needed.

I think tar.hu is not working outside of Hungary, so here are the new links:

http://galileo.spaceports.com/~ianout/
http://www.extra.hu/IanOut
http://www.tar.hu/ianout

I HOPE that at least one of them works. If not then please send me a reply.

IanOut - A post-nuclear Ian-playing game (Total Conversion)

The biggest problem with Fallout was, that it was very hard to create mods for it, IanOut tries to solve this problem, an easy way: this game is really an engine, that uses the graphics from the Fallout2 CD, and the others files can be created/edited with a simple text editor, and the Level Editor, ...
