Re: any good tv shows out there r/n

Severance on Apple TV is pretty good and about to get a 2nd season. The Expanse is also a good sci fi that keeps getting rumours of a 7th season.

My current trash tv show in watching at the moment is From. It's a fucking terrible show.

Re: I'm an orphan.

Sorry to hear that mate. My Mum is still kicking around (unfortuently), but it's been over a decade since Dad and my grandparents all passed.

The trick is to marry someone older than you, so you'll never have to be the responsible eldest person in the family.

Wow that made me feel pretty proud of you too, that's very sweet. Indirect positive feedback like that is so great, feels more honest. Yeah, it was a weird way to get feedback, but made me feel better after getting "Stainless is a bit arrogant" as feedback on training presentations. In ge...

The thing is just talking to them they still think when it dips down a little to just buy in and hold for a couple of years and laugh with them. Honestly the thing that stops me the most is that I can't be bothered these days jumping through the million hopes for the Australian cryptocoin brokerage ...

So I did health and safety within a University (I'm now doing Facilities because $$$). Sometimes it sucks because I have to make people do a lot of pointless shit - but enjoy teaching a lot of the younger chemists proper chemical management / industrial handling which isn't something they get from t...

I've got mates who got on the bitcoin wagon pretty early and are laughing. I keep thinking I've missed the boat on it and then it doubles in price again.

Senister, that candyland piece I did years and years ago was really the start of this whole journey. I eventually did a boardgame, and then again years later finally decided to tell a comic story in the world of Sugarplum. It's been a nice diversion in the past year as everything has been kind of s...

So after I stopped being a forklift driver and went back to school I actually worked in gold refining for almost 10 years. - It's only recently (2 years?) that Gold has started taking over Platinum. Palladium also skyrocketed in value despite historically be around 60% the price of gold. It's not po...

I had a girl snatch BBQ tongs out of my hands during a drunken public holiday. Sliced my hand open. Walked into a 24hr chemist at 10pm for steri-strips to keep the wound closed then ignored it for 2 days until I went into work. Boss took one look at it and sent me to the hospital to have it all stit...

I joined DAC 20-odd years ago and been a pretty shithouse contributor over the last 10 or so. Probably long overdue to slap that donate button.
