The only good car is a foreign car (to those of us in America). The Japs and Krauts make 'em a lot better. To my taste, there hasn't been that many good cars made in America since the 70's. However, if you go back that far, 50's-70's, America reigns supreme. The new Ford GT beats all the Ferraris a...

Yeah I was flipping through the channels and like 90% of all dialogue was in English, and obviously dubbed. The subtitles were presumably in Dutch. Could have been German. This was about 3 years ago. Maybe you're confusing crappy acting with dubbing? I haven't seen a show that was dubbed into Engli...

Eh? Dutch programs aren't dubbed in English.

It's coming out in december 2004 and from what I gathered, it really is a Dutch movie, so expect subtitles.

It's a horror movie especially made for the Dutch, it seems. "First they invaded our country", "Then they stole our Worldcup (in 1974)" "Now they've taken over our beaches" and "Getting back at the neighbours". I bet the screenwriter's grandfather had his bike...

Wouldn't that leave them with basicly nothing? I think FO3 is the only product Interplay can hope to make a buttload of money with.

No One Lives Forever. Fantastic game, brilliant atmosphere, tons of humour and yet hardly anyone played it. Severance: Blade Of Darkness. Completely over the top 3rd person 3D hack & slash game with an unbelievable amount of gore (you could chop off limps of your opponents and then use the sever...

I usually first play a game as a tank, crushing everything that's evil, since that's the most easy way to complete an average crpg. When I like the game it I try to do the evil path after that, usually with a diplomacy focused character.

^Only 4.1 percent? I thought the unemployment rate was absurdly high and the economy was going to hell? Or so the politicians said to justify the amazing budget cuts. Only "4.1%" is not how I would put it, seeing as how we always kept it at a stady 3% during the past years. I mean, it was...

Rayt, I edited your post the trait is called "Fast Shot" ... Anyways, yea. I agree, you should be able to pick up a handy way of defending yourself / making your way with that set of skills. By then you should have had at least one NPC. The AI for npcs was pretty craptacular and they were...

The first time I played Fallout I picked Doctor, Science and Repair as my tag skills and Fast Shot and something else, which I forgot. My reasoning was that I played a independant fixer, who made up for his lack in combat specialty with the quickshot perk and the ability to heal himself after a figh...

Though you have a point about the player's skill coming into play, I just don't think combat is such a significant part of roleplaying. It's often just a result of it, so that's why I think it doesn't matter.

JE has a point. Board games have nothing to do with with computer games. Strategy board games, like Risk, The colonists of Catan and Stratego are turn based. Computer strategy games like Starcraft, Dune 2 and Warcraft 2 are real time. And all of them are excellent and played smoothly. I think real t...

They say a reason for the crappy demo is that it had to be a reasonable download size. IMO, it's a bit of a silly reason. 150 Mb is a huge download for a 56k-er who'll prolly don't even bother to download it and for broadband people it doesn't really matter wheter the demo is 150 Mb or 1500 mb.

Hm, I just completed the demo and although I tried my best to like the game, I still don´t know what to think yet... For my taste it´s a bit too combat-heavy (almost as Diablo, while on the other hand not as smooth). I don´t see how this can be fun playing with a sneak/speec...

Real time combat has in this case been the wrong choice.
