Things are definitely looking up for MR. We have gained some quality people with our last five applicants. Maybe we will finish a month or two before FMF... :joy:

Sorry about my piss-poor quoting. How's this? Now, you are getting into the spirit of things! :joy: Well, I read the whole thread, so I suppose that I'm going to have to pick alternative B. :sadblinky: Surely you jest, my good sir? Indeed, I do. If I myself wasn't an ass, I would have offere...

Nicolai, oh Nicolai, Now, you are getting into the spirit of things! :joy: you are guilty of either not reading a whole thread or of being a complete ass---Which one is it? Well, I read the whole thread, so I suppose that I'm going to have to pick alternative B. :sadblinky: Maybe a little o...

Nicolai, oh Nicolai, you are guilty of either not reading a whole thread or of being a complete ass---Which one is it? Maybe a little of both. I apologized to Corvwyn for the 'surrender damn quick,' remark. I believe the Norwegians did the best they could. What's the point of your whole post, really...

Kahgan, I hate to criticize you, but the reason the second bomb wasn't dropped on it's primary target was because they would have no footage of the explosion. They knew by instruments where they were but there wouldn't be a complete photographic record if they dropped it through the clouds. Nagasaki...

Still posturing, chaps ? Twats, the lot of you. :drunk: Perhaps you are right. I need to lighten up a bit. I was once as idealistic as these guys. I should be working on the mod anyway. I can feel DarkUnderLord and his mod team lurking just beyond the horizon, eager to overtake us (MR)and in a jeal...

Corvwyn, all I'm trying to say is that I don't think Americans deserve the hatred you are espousing. I will not deny that the Norwegians did the best they could, but I'm tired of Europeans acting like the sacrifice made by America on your behalf when you needed help is forgotten. I have never felt a...

This was just one of many atrocities that american leaders should have been punished for. But one must relize that the US people are responsible for their leaders. Or at least we are supposed to be. So we must all be punished. can't we just blow up all the nukes in the world and make a new Fallout-...

Hehe. Meet atrocities with even worse atrocities. That's always been your way. One attack on your home soil and you get all loco. A-Bombs away, fuck up afghanistan, invade iraq without reason. What would you do if someone killed thousands of Norwegians? Ooops, I know, surrender real damn quick. Thi...

I'll agree that a certain element won't be happy no matter what FMF, MR or any other mod does, but they aren't the people we are doing this for. I'll tell you this, I think FMF is going to set a pretty high standard, so we'll have to beat them through subterfuge, artifice, and deceit. We have many t...

I can guarantee you it's going to be chopped into little bitty pieces anyway, no matter what you do. Hmmm. Fortunately, we have too many talented people that will be able to cover for any of my missteps. However, I am getting the sense that our FMF bretheren want to throw the gauntlet down. I tell ...

If you know something is a failure I'm sure you would not put it out. We weren't ready. Our first demo was not playable and crushed our morale for a while. If we had released it, I'm not sure we would have survived the ensuing bloodbath.

I think if we had released our original demo we would have been chopped into pieces.

As for wild_qwerty, I think he has been busy avoiding all the heartbroken, angry women he created when he got married. He is still on the team.

Our website has been down almost a week. I'm getting so desperate, I've considered applying to FMF. Anyway, I can tell you that we have been working hard. Smary, Riyuo and Mikey are all new writers and they are making an impact. Eimink(one of our musicians) has even joined in the writing effort and ...

I guess part of my interest has been simply in comparing MR's storyline and quests to another Fallout game's to gauge how good our ideas have been. It has been instructive to see how in-depth the professionals go with their work. My interest would be the same for a F1 or F2 design doc.

I found portions of those design docs of use. The global city map idea was very interesting to me.
