Re: Bethesda's Claim Denied
At issue, will likely be the situation of Masthead saying that they are funding 20 million and I2G saying that they are funding 15 million, but it seems the money isn't all available up front but rather through the course of development. Bethesda argues that Interplay needed a 30 million line of cr...

I find that it's a bad design decision, for my current replay I now have a list of quests/locations I won't begin and characters I won't talk to without having the appropriate companion in my party since I don't want to miss out on companion quests. The shitty part is that you run into most of these...

I knew about it, it's just a bit gamey for me. Not in my tastes. If I want to benefit from their companionship I have to endure the negatives as well. Most of the negatives seem to come from crummy companion AI, meta-game to begin with. Another benefit to having companions in your party and still w...

I haven't really fucked with companions too much, so maybe one of you folks can answer this. Do you still have to feed ammo to your companions? Using your example, you gave Boone the Anti-Materiel, do you then have to keep him supplied with ammo for it? You gotta feed them ammo. Only if you equip t...

New Vegas doesn't have level-scalingeverything is set in stone No. If you have doubts open the geck and see for yourself, the gun runner shop for instance sells different level-dependent tiers of equipment. If you only qualify for tier 1 then no matter how many times the store refreshes itself it w...

Expected a cakester thread because of the title. Don't mind the third person camera or action-style gameplay, enjoyed fo3 enough, expect new vegas to range from slightly worse than fo3 to a whole lot better, but not good enough to be inspiring. Would have preferred to see troika get this chance, lik...

If it was possible to force limping (walking) by shooting someone in the leg then it should be possible to cause severe perception loss by shooting someone in the eyes and such even if its not graphical. This already happens when you cripple someone's head. You could also shoot weapons out of enemy...

Your theory is also flawed for comparing Final Fantasy, by the way, as FF10 and 9 sold more than FF8. They didn't, according to that link tofu man posted: Final Fantasy VII 9.8 million Final Fantasy VIII (8.15 million) Final Fantasy IX (5.30 million) Final Fantasy X (6.6 million) Final Fantasy XII ...
