Re: Mod concept - anyone interested?
There is no 5.56mm in FO, there is .223cal though. You *do* know thats the same round, right? That is why I typed it like that. Simple fact in Fallout is that it's just called .223cal. TO:Retlaw83 Well your talking about M1's and M14's in your first post. Then you mention the AK-47, and I pointed o...

Re: Mod concept - anyone interested?
I'm considering changing the things wrong with the real-world weapons in FoT and maybe bringing it more in line with Fallout canon After reading this thread I don't see this having anything to do with Fallout canon at all. Seems more to do with making them all the more real world like. There is no ...

Gold has always had a value based on its rarity. Every civilization since the dawn of man has considered it a valuable metal. I guess you need to read Adam Smith or something to understand the complete economics of money. Sorry, but I somehow doubt in a Post Nuclear Wasteland that even Mr.T would f...

Lol, why the hell would anyone care about Gold in the wasteland? Is it just for the sake of being Gold, just what would it be any good for? I always spend as little time in Redding as possible, first three or so games I never even visited it. I can honestly say I know little about what goes on in Re...

Hmm, I played Fallout 1 when it first came out and loved the hell out of it. I can't even count the times I replayed it in so many different ways. Then I played Fallout 2 and loved the hell out of it. I also cannot count the number of times I replayed it differently either. The ONLY thing I didn't l...

Rocket Launchers
I forgot all about the Rocket Launcher, it's sequence for all stances is not correct either. Use the unarmored Mutant for a reference. Oh and you need to extract all the rocketlauncherBLAH.wav's from the sound_0.bos and rename them rocket BLAH.wav for it to actually work for all character spr's. The...

Of Armored Super Mutants and Energy weapons.
I don't know if this would be old news or not, I couldn't find anything on it using search. FOT has Energy Weapons set to use normal rifle anims, but SM's Armored and otherwise do not posses these animations. Setting the weapons to use Heavy gun anims (Like they should be no?) works fully for the un...

I hope this is the last nail in the Coffin of Interplay, but I am bitter. I don't know if I ever want to see a FO3 made having anything to do with Interplay. It's time for new blood in the POST-APOC RPG genre. Fallout had it's heyday, now it's time for someone else to wave the flag. It's sad games l...

About those weapons..
Ok, so no new real world weapons, but do all the weapons Fallout 2 introduced to the Fallout Universe get to stay? We just can't start saying things in Fallout 2 never happened, and sweep them under the rug...I hate it when game developers do that.
