[...] I think it was Great Bend. I didn't load up FoT, itself but looking a world map of it online, that doesn't make sense. At a glance, the most likely candidate for Great Bend would be Great Bend, Kansas given the relative distances "between" Kansas City, Great Bend and Cheyenne Mountain

... Wow, an Advanced Spambot. Yeah - It is interesting to see the variants on them. One of the ones in General Discussion (http://www.duckandcover.cx/forums/viewtopic.php?p=493482#493482) confused me at first, although it makes sense now that I see the edit that it did after-the-fact. From South Be...

What Version of Fallout1 are you using?

If you are using the DOS version, try DOSBOX.

If the windows executable, try looking for a DirectX windowing utility.

Let me know if those don't work or if you need some more help with this.

You could try doing a file search: Try going to the command line and then: - Go to the root of your drive ( CD\ ) - Run dir /B /S SAVE.DAT Assuming the dir command feature set has not been reduced in vista, this should list all of the "SAVE.DAT"s on that drive (Of course, It may take a whi...

Did you swap out the file in the DAT file or in the data folder? If you did it in the data folder, when you switched out the file, did you remember to make the new file read-only? If you skip that step, the game can overwrite the file when you run it. If you did it into the DAT file, which DAT file ...

Based on your response, I'm assuming that you cannot find save game files that you have saved from your current installation. I haven't tried FO on Vista myself, but try looking in (Assuming your OS is based on your C drive) C:\Users\ <UserName> \AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\BlackIsle\Fa...

Figured out how to not start in Arroyo? There might be scripts that assume you start in Arroyo for normal FO2, so that might mess something up - I've never bothered to investigate. But it is fairly easy to start on a different map, you just need to change the start map specified in the EXE from art...

From a glance, it sounds to me like some other window is grabbing the focus every so often - You might try shutting down all other applications you might have running and see if that fixes the problem.

As far as I no, nobody was arguing the 13-year limit. What I was disagreed with was: Thats all i am saying. I have so far seen way to many mods promising fallout mod set in some time before or after fallout 2 time. And thats just plane imposible to do. Sure you can change start date by hexing the ex...

Still hex editing the .exe file wont help you cause there is nothing to hex edit. You can posebly remove the playing of end movie. But time will still go 13 years than rewind to game start date and than if it cant display end movie crash the game. Thats all i am saying. I have so far seen way to ma...

Very few of the tiles are labeled, so there really isn't an easier way to go about it. Here is a partial list of the tiles. Note that this is not complete, and I haven't double-checked it, so the exact numbers may be off, but they should be generally correct. 0 Tile Eraser 1 Metal Grate 2-4 Steel Fl...

In general, yes you can. I know some of Intel's newest boards ( D915GVWB , for example) only have support for 1.44 and 2.88 drives in the BIOS, but the bulk of those available at the present have a much wider range of support, so you should (and I have) been able to get them to work there without an...

Not a problem - I don't really care about gravedigging as long as you are doing something useful with the corpse. Although a link to the actual press release, if available, would have been nice.
