Sounds like it'll be a great game. I'm not going to reject any PA-themed RPG. So it's going to be ported to a phone--so what? The majority of game content is multimedia fanfare and cross-platform concessions (varying quality levels, sound samples, etc.), so it doesn't bode poorly for the core PC game.

Diablo2 is one of my all-time favorites, not for its depth, but just for how goddamned fun it is, and you can boot up and play for a few hours without any real investment. It's masturbation and cigarettes rolled into one.

Looking forward to Restricted Area!

Damn!

If the screenshots thus far are any indication, it seems Lionheart is heavily weighted in favor of the "Circle" school of spells. I had really hoped to be a Rhombus Mage, or maybe a Triangumancer like my L99 "Isosceles" character on Geometry Online. Bummer.

Fallout Advance

Too bad that old Wasteland Advance hoax was, well, a hoax. I'd buy a GBA just to re-play Wasteland, or a animified Fallout, or hell, even a remake or sequel to Chrono Trigger-- just gimme some post-apocalyptic goodness!

Scoop 'em Up?

I bought a hundred shares when it was at 30 cents. Now I could buy a thousand for double the price. That's not a lot of money to throw away on a long shot, especially for a company that's given us so much happy joy.

Hmm.

Meantime

I'd always assumed "Meantime" was a Wasteland sequel, and not just another game using the Wasteland engine. That's a headline-worthy bit of news for any Wasteland fan.

Beautiful

It's not Fallout, but this is the first game since Arcanum I've been excited about playing. At least it's twisting the standard medieval swords and sorcery genre with a little creative torque.
