Here's hoping we'll soon have something to focus on other than FO3 (R.I.P.) Seriously, I think Fargo is old enough and wise enough that he will deliver the exactly what the fans want (Bard's Tale notwithstanding). The guy is old school. I played Wasteland on my Commodore 64 for chrissakes. He is not...

That is without a doubt a brotherhood helmet on the corpse. The rest of the outfit looks like garbage samurai. Im more than willing to bet that the brotherhood will make an appearance on this coast as well from this picture. I'm wondering more if we're not going to see the Enclave in the game. Afte...

It seems you do not quite grasp the full extent of your rampant tooliganism, my dear philowar. :drunk: Yes, very vague and so very wise, aren't you? It's real easy to be clever when you toss out some glib, hazy statement without explaining yourself, but then you're such a drunk, insouciant sage, to...

EDIT: Oh yes. Fallout 2 is fun to play. Don't listen to that idiot. The setting is kinda lame and some of the dialouge options are cheesy, but it's still definately worth a playthrough. Yeah, one play-through, whereas FO1 is worth 100. If you're a moron who likes a bastardized, campy, fucked-in-the...

Re: Old gamer, new to Fallout...
Do you have any suggestions for me Beware the shitty inferiority that is FO2. Bad writing, stupid plot, idiotic locales. FO1 I have built a shrine to. FO2 is good for going around and blasting everything in sight, being careful to avoid reading any dialogue that pops up on the screen. Oh, and get t...

The new concept art is up over at the FO3 site. Slick, professional, and boring. No real style or coolness at all. What is this? The Day After? The Day After Tomorrow? Could be promo art for any big budget Hollywood end-of-the-world movie I've seen. Man, the guys at Beth really don't get it, do they?

I like Liam Neeson alot. He was good in Batman, Schindler's List, Darkman, and I think he could fit into Fallout perfectly. The dad thing is a little corny. If I don't have the option of killing him right off the bat, its just not a Fallout game. I like Neeson as an actor, but how much further away...

I usualy skipped arroyo as much as I could. It was lame and didnt really adhere to the FO setting in my mind. Hell, I did that with a lot of locations in FO2: Arroyo, Vault City, Broken Hills, etc, etc, etc. But shit, most all of the locations sucked in FO2 (that is, they were not true to the spiri...

The music starts off... well, it kind of fits the setting. It can work as long as the tone isn't that for the rest of the game (lets have some 40s/50s songs please!). Man, I know I'll get flamed for this, but I really don't understand how someone who has little or no understanding of the retro futu...

I don't think it's an absolutle must have for the game, but if the entire feeling of people doing what they do to survive (cynthia from Junktown for example) get the kiddy treatement, then it'll feel so very very shallow. I think it was the over-the-top sex, drugs, and stupid jokes (that and all th...
