What's Victoria about? It's like post-EU? Vicky is a shamelessly Euro/western-centric strat game like EU, but the mechanics for EU doesnt quite work with the industrial revolution etc. so they have changed quite a big regarding trade, research, politics and pops. Its probably one of my favourite gr...

All this Paradox love is really getting me psyched for the next Europa Universalis. Its been so long, but I hope its still as good as I remember it beeing. Hopefully they have taken the good bits from Vicky 2, HoI 3 and CK2 and mashed it all together in a glorious new grand-scale experience. As I un...

Man, I wish they for *once* would have the balls to add the backstory of the fascist government into the movies. If you ever read the comic called 'America' it really shows how much of a fascist enforcer Dredd really is. I once read an interview with one of the creators of the comic books where he s...

People make new friends at our age? I always though you just stuck with whatever friends you had and slowly got a family to cover for friends when they eventually move on with their lives. But if you absolutely need some human contact I suggest some form of organized sport. Rugby, football, soccer o...

Something I keep reading on reddit I think. About 50% of the time it's written there every time. Cakeday is birthday I assume. Which is about as clever as calling Easter 'Happy Egg'. AMA is short for I need attention, please talk to me, i'll even lie and invent a personality to reap reddit internet ...

About a week ago I hooked up a joystick to my laptop and configured it to work with Nebula, the NeoGeo emulator. Played through so many fucking brilliant old arcade games. That machine was the fucking epitome of 2d games looking gorgeous. All the Metal Slug games, Punisher, various weird japanese sp...

The last mech game I played was Chrome-hounds which was pretty good. Lego-style customisation, online persistent world combat and squad based deathmatch gameplay. Servers are shut down now, so its too late to get back in the mech. Hawken looks like an ok free-to-play mech game, but will probably end...

Well, clearly all the demos are finely tuned to show off exactly what they want to show. No one is really debating that aspect of it, but many of the events that happened in The last of us appeared to be more scripted than they actually were. For instance, the enemies wont be in the same spot every ...
