I have been patient and waited for years at end now... But now I wonder, when will Black Isle/interplay/whoever open their eyes and realize the potential for profit that dwells within the title "Fallout 3"? 22000 people have signed the petition, come on folks, develop...or at least you could sell the right to develop to some interested external firm? Just doooon't keep us waiting anymore... The Baldurs gate series might be lucrative business, but the forgotten realms setting doesn't get my clock ticking...The wasteland does!

Look, It's probably not going to happen any time soon.

Yes, im pretty sure everyone is shocked and horrified that even after how poorly FO:T went theyve decided to go and create FO:E, yes it was yet another jackass step for Interplay, but what exactly did we expect ?
that interplay would cave and say "ok guyz, lets make a FO3 which most people wont buy because theres only a handful of diehard fans" were in reality they said " theres a veritable sea of l33tfanboys idiots who would plonk down cash because OMG dis game iz a WASTLELAND DOOD, AND ALL THE GUNZZ AND THE PIC OF THE HALF NEKKID CHIXZ AND I DUN HAV TO TINK CAUSE I GOT A GUN !!!111, DID I MENTION I GOT GUNZZZ !!!!!!11!!"

I doubt we'll see a Fallout 3 any time soon, if at all. I mean Feargie has said he'd like to make it, but he's said that before many times just to keep us elated. BIS are currently developing Lionheart and they've got that Jefferson thing lined up after it. Hmm.
