Do you watch it?

Empty is not an option, I add it in preparation for the disappearing 1st option.

Vote: No, the idea of UFOs sucks.

While I have to say that since the universe is apparently limitless and has been around for roughly 15 billion years it's not an issue of if life has evolved on other planets, but rather an issue of when/where. However, this doesn't mean that we're being watched by Marvin the Martian who has taken an interest in our primitive species for whatever reason. Ostensibly life on other planets would also face the same obstacles in interstellar travel that our own species faces.

That being said, I find the current obsession w/UFOs - especially those believers w/a New Age bent - to be rather distasteful, seeing how they will accept all of this w/o any real evidence.

Well, I guess the presence of ETs and the presence of ETs on earth are two different matters. I don't believe in their presence on earth and can't tell if they exist in outer space. I've read a book citing FBI Files on the matter, but nothing seems to be convincing. But I still watch the show. :)

Well, I like the series and try to watch it on a regular basis but I don't believe that ETs exist and especcialy not in the capacity that the show depicts. :)

Oh...

Has anyone been afraid of aliens before? I know its silly but those big black eyes give me nightmares and I can hardly watch a movie relating to aliens in any way without taking cover. This was of course before I got over it. 8)

Only to get my weekly Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) fix.....If I was Mulder, I'd spend my time investigating the contents of her underwear!!!

Yes, I watch X files. Good stuff - all other serials are rubbish... and about their ideas. I don't care - film is good and this is all I want.

I vote empty, because I think the whole series is pretty empty. Must've watched a total of 5 episodes and 1 movie, but that's it, can't take it anymore...

The series has gone on too long, and has repeated itself too often. I got bored after the first series.

Kash, how can you understand the movie with just 5 episode's experience? :?

Well, everybody knows Beatles, allthough they might've not heard any of their songs...

The same way, every person in the Western world knows agents Scully and Mulder (didn't he leave the series, btw?).

I think so. I think they replaced him with that guy who played the T1000 in Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Of course everybody knows the two agents, I mean you can follow the story? Like who's CSM...etc?

As for Mulder, I'm more than happy to see him go. The replacement is called Agent Doggett (not sure the spelling), played by Robert Patrick.
