Possiblity of creating a different race char?

This is for multiplayer, I intend to make a mod to allow players to create races like Citizens, Reavers, Raiders. Is that possible?

The simple version is to simply make maps w/those types of characters on them w/their Player Indeces setting them to be controlled by certain players.

Be aware that the sprites for some races are very limited in what weapons they can use. Most of the Citizens, for instance, will be stuck w/punching, kicking, and using weapons set to the "None" type like Grenades.

As for actually modding it...I'm not sure. I think the available races are hardcoded, but don't take my word for it. Start poking through the various TXT files in the game and you might find something. I didn't find anything in the various race and MP files, but I was just browsing.

thx, i started poking around, as u said limited animations and that stuff. If u make premades on the map, u cant choose the skills to learn... its okay, maybe i'll stick to humanies, ghoulies and doggies.

You can set up new entities for your maps Citizens, the only thing is that you'd have to distribute them w/your map. So you could have a Vault Dweller w/Science, Throwing and Unarmed Tagged so that he/she would be viable on the map.
