Things in the Fallout world should be practical. Except maybe leather shoulderpads, but wait, those are practical. It makes you look very cool and everyone thinks you are the badass, and doesn't want to mess with you.
Thongs offer no protection, of course, if an enemy sees that female creature in the thong, they might pity her and not kill her. Then again, she just might get raped. Teach her not to run around naked.

Yup, you're right, especially since the government supposedly took over Posieden Oil when oil got scarce. Vault Zero wasn't a huge secret, considering Fallout Tactics even has news tape reels about the construction of it and the Calculator in the first mission with the robots, IIRC, so I really doubt a government run nuclear plant wouldn't know about the change to the government contracted and well publicized vault in the place of Norad.

Sean has postes an apology to Saint and Killzig for the lies in his rant:
Sean wrote:First off, I've talked with both Killzig and Saint Proverbius of Duck & Cover since my rant last week. I would like to apologize to the both of them and the rest of the guys at that site for some of the things I said in my rant that were obviously misinformed (them being booted from GIS, for example). I do still stand by my primary argument that they were handling the issue very badly and encouraging an outrage amongst the Fallout community that I think damaged the community as a whole. Neither Killzig or Proverbius seem like bad guys, I just don't agree with how they acted as supposed voices for their community.
And this time, he even linked DAC. Now isn't that nice?
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Bah - what are the bad things the "community" have done, really, besides making some amusing Chuck pics and being a collective pain in the ass on the IPLY forums? Crybaby.

We've given him an excuse to take a holier-than-thou additude.

They whine about how rude we are, and about how WE whine about the shite that is Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. This is the second insult to the series, not only to the fans, but it also ruined the image of one of the most memorable group of characters in a game!

Mostly they just whine about how those screen shots are "S0 e4rly dude U cannt make judgements on it!" Or about how since we haven't played the game, we can't judge it. Mostly bullshit.

Well, you can say one thing about FOBOS: it really has brought the community together. Most of the time, we're all arguing about this and that and how Tactics was good and how no, it was crap and so on and so forth. But right here, right now, we can all agree that we're mad as hell, and for once, we're all mad at the same people.

So what's the lesson here? Well, when dealing with the Fallout community, hate (of Interplay) unites us while love (of the same) creates division and infighting.
