Is it wrong?
I started collecting Warhammer 40.000 and my army is being made up from Space Marines. Now, these guys have power-armour, so I'm painting them all in The Brotherhood of Steel colors, logos, etc. Even the vehicles look rusty and like they survived not only a nuclear war, but then another 38.000 years. Now, my question to you is: Is this wrong? Is it utter blasphemy towards the great BOS and all things Falloutty or is it just yet another piece of evidence towards my complete and all-consuming love for Fallout?

I think its a good idea. In WH games its good that you can use different themes on your armies.
I once had a scout army consisting only of scouts and some light vehicles painted in green camoflage colours.
Wonder if there is any official FO figures since the WH40k power armor looks bit different than the FO PA... unless you convert your figures.

This is like a fanfic, Tank. It's just something you're doing for fun, and it's not canon or anything, so I doubt you'll get Rosh and Saint_Proverbius ripping you a new one because your BOS drives tanks. And frankly, if you can pull off the rusty effect and make it look good, you definitely should. And yes, pictures.

ROFL!
And for ghouls we could take the eldar, reshape the armnor with some green-stuff (the yellow+blue stuff that hardens) and a knife, then remove their hair and paint them ghoulish- the eldar do have the right body-proportions for it, that's for sure...
As for pics, I'll send them when I'm finished painting the highlights on the first two units. Only thing that really annotys me is their goddamn flamers- the flamer-fuel fueltanks are waaaay too small and all my attempts at making my own tanks that have the right size/proportions have failed miserably...
And anybody interested in helping me make a BOS codex? I have the story roughly cut out along with the heroes... Go Maxons great-grreat grandson (cryo-sleep, etc will explain this!)! And I want them to have more laser- and plasma weapons, they're gonna be weaker but without the same chances of amlfunctioning, but with good penetration on the plasma-weapons and really good damage or good range but low penetration on the laser-weapons... What do you guys think of that?

The new ones, Third edition I think, but I'm not sure. On a side-note, I've almost finished the first squadron, just need the highlights, then I'll take some pics and put 'em up online!

interesting concept. Spacemarine armour does have some resemblence to the fallout PA, with the exlusion of the helmet, which is of roundish shape (much alike that of a human head with extensions attached).
Space orcs are an eligible candidate to represent the super mutant race. They have some physical features in comon, which basically make them the 40k equivalent of FO mutants.
PS, eldar is more compatible with REAVERS than they are with GHOULS, concerning their appearances, right? REAVER "technophile" culture relates better to Eldar, then do Ghouls, hmm?
oh, and...im REEEEAAAALLLY curious as to how you painted the models!! I'm eagre to see the pictures

Almost done, perpare for some pics later this week!
As for Space-orks, their being wide-spread all over the universe could be because the FEV-virus somehow got space-born but by now humanity doesn't know/remember anything of those ancient wars and weapons.... AHAH! Mystery solved!
