Fallout Enforcer preview over at GameSpot
[ -> Preview]
Up on GameSpot today, there's another <A href="http://www.gamespot.com/ps2/action/fall ... preview of Fallout Enforcer for everyone to love and enjoy!

The game's structure sticks close to the pattern established by games like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and it will be broken up into a series of levels in which you'll battle the aforementioned freaks of nature and the occasional boss. The combat in the game features ranged and melee attacks. You can swap between these two types of attacks at your leisure, thanks to the mix of 50 ranged and melee weapons, including guns, grenades, and assorted blunt objects. You'll also find a healthy assortment of armor that you'll be able to equip to improve your chances of surviving the onslaught of foes. The game will feature an experience system that will reward you with skill points that can be used to enhance various character statistics.

Oh boy! More shallow gameplay, please! Fixed levels with bosses, MMMMM-MMMMM! You have both kinds of solutions to everything, ranged AND melee. I'm drooling already!

Note that SPECIAL isn't mentioned at all, either, something that was well hyped in Lionheart.

Spotted this at HomeLAN Fed

Heavy metal, butt cheeks & men in brightly coloured armour, what more could we ask for in the Fallout universe? Only explanation that makes any sense is we've entered bizarro world or the devs need to sit down & play a FO game before trying to design one. (No, tactics doesn't count)
I can't take any more of this but, know I will. We all have gawker syndrome FO has been in a terrible accident & despite being made violently ill, we just can't help looking at the mess. Accident? No not an accident, it's a crime scene. Lets pray for a new rain of nuclear destruction will obliterate all traces of this monstrosity from the FO universe. This is enough to make the Vault Dweller cry.

At that "movie" page on Gamespot, it appears that only the first "movie" is offered in streamin' format. The rest take one to the subscription page.
They do shill for Bill Gates by warning Netscapers that trouble is ahead...
(Could DAC make BIG GATES BUCKS by having a similar "pop up", not that it would mean any REAL problems, yet, just another notch up of the ANXIETY Quotient.)
Now, in perspective, 24 bucks a year is equivalent to a rag-mag sub and one 12th the average PORN site sub, Gamespy had similar exclusives for DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball, a jiggle-giggle psuedo-lesbo lov-fest. But if one could endure the forever 45 minute wait line at their EXCLUSIVE server page, have your PC watch 45 minutes of game ads, (I had to go pee, and do the dishes , and so further), one could download the DVX, DXL,LSMFT or whatever format, mega movie.
So in these Brave New DAYZ, first exclusives are "Pay To Play" . This be the post DOT COM BOOM, dot bomb boom; money is no longer virtual and has to be "made". Real value must be produced. Although it's a pimpin' middle man service, sort of product, it's there to satisfy our purient interests...
No free money, no free lunch, no free FREEDOM either, but that's a political editorial and off topic in our land of lotus eaters, THE WWWEB.....
The female avatar in BG:DA was in a bikini when out of armor, or out of AMOR of the player. How many watched her smite rats until the real monsters came nipping for her BUTT?
Well we all know porn pays and so did GTA, so if there be bottle caps for WHORES in FOBOS, there may be a Mature rating too. It was C.C. that threw out the ' hook' of whores. If ther' be bimbos and no Mature rating I suggest you all get your mom's to e-mail SONY and ask why SONY is pimpin'.......
Lot of Pirate games on the horizon too, maybe that's why C.C. was fishin' for responses when I'play name dropped "pirates" in the first notice.....
Pirate Cuevas? He sell rum lik' Pirate Morgon? It's all a service to sell image first 'n' then product....

I can't believe I wasted my precious bandwidth on that movie. That said, I was completely underwhelemed by the trailer. Guess I shouldn't have expected anything better... *sign*Mad Max RW wrote:If you think you can handle it
