About Fallout Tycoon

Post by DJ Slamák »

[ -> N/A]

There's a status update on Fallout Tycoon, the falloutesque city management sim I've <a href="http://www.duckandcover.net/forums/view ... ntioned before.

Basically, it says the game is almost ripe for final testing. Unfortunately, some features (namely the missions) cannot be implemented due to engine limitations. The team is working on a sort of compensation for that, which is one of the last things on the to-do list. Also, they have announced plans for Fallout Tycoon 2, which, as logic dictates, should be bigger and better than the first.

Once the game is finalized, the English translation will commence. It should be "professional" (without further specifications), so you won't be getting any foreign gibberish. Finally, once the English version is out, the team will move on to new horizons and FTyc will fall prey to a squad of volunteers who will be translating the game into Polish.

That is all for now.

It's plucky projects like this that put the spring back into my step! That is... until the next news from Interplay kicks me hard in the testicles.

More power to these guys! I'll have to... haha... 'czech' this game out when it's finished.

Indeed. I do like those new loading screens they've made.

The only thing I have againt this game is that from the screens I've seen, the buildings seem a bit repetitive (ie line after line of tents facing north). It'd be nice to see a little variety. Maybe see a few tents facing south or something of that nature.
One day...
