...Downing the trailer now...
Hmm I like picture number 2, =)
I'd like it as a BIG background... only it should have the title Fo3,
and the picture should have nothing to actually DO with the game.
Just eye candy would be nice.
Has anyone read angst technology lately..?
About Salesman Steve?
His point is that games today only sell because of sex & violence,
it seems that somebody took that fact a bit too serious......

That's the thing, the game itself probably isn't that bad for what it does. Looks a bit like something from the Twisted Metal seris, but without the cars. The sort of game I'd turn to for a mindless blast if a game of real Fallout hadn't gone too well for me.Bridgeburner wrote:the trailer on itself isn't that bad. but the fact that it ha the word fallout in it makes it horrible. and wtf has pipboy to do with BoS? I thought he was supposed to represent people that live in Vaults.
I liked the minigunZ s0u|\|D 3ffeX0rZ.
But to attach the Fallout license to it at all is just... well, other people have made that point better than I can. Criminally unnecessary.

Tis a dark day for Fallout, and, for games as a whole as well.
We pray and pray to the Gods of Fallout, but nay, that message is intercepted and bastardized beyond all hope. And I say to thee, what hope is there? What hope is there for the next generation of "Fallout" fans? Are they to be raised on "1337 pArTkul EFFEX?" and "Mr. T meets Rollerball?" Is what we've accomplished and worked for and waited for to be tainted by the very satan of gaming with his moustache of agony? Never, NEVER I say!
So "Goose," you say, "what IS to be done?"
Well, gentle soul, I say turn your eyes to EvoG. Yes, EvoG, you have the powah. The powah to make a quality game with the backing of a pre-existing community of die-hard fans. So, to the heaving, wiggling, unwashed masses, I say to you; Remember the good days of Fallout. Remember the rats, and Tandi, and most importantly, remember the great Dogmeat. Now, turn your eyes forward, to the future of post-apoc RPG's, and to hope.
Thank you, and goodnight.

Stupendously stupid also comes to mind. As soon as I saw this I went and sent an e-mail to one of my friends who was one of those people who said lets wait and see before we judge it. The e-mail consisted of a link to the film and the message "HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA..." only I copied and pasted it in five line segments for almost a half an hour before I continued while hiding the phrase "You were so fucking wrong and I hate you" during the second half hour. It almost makes me ashamed to be a Fallout fan. I laughed histerically through the trailer moreso than when I saw a guy running through the park earlier screaming out music by The Men Without Hats for ten minutes straight before running into a tree and becoming unconcious. This though. This is bad. Why, why dont they ever listen.Rosh wrote:Two words that sum up the trailer:
Utterly Craptastic
They just never listen...
