Tank wrote:Fallout. By far the best game, thoroughly worked-out story-line and hardly any bugs not to mention the perfect feel of desolation. Fallout 2 was good as well but with all the bugs and broken quests plus the lost of desolatory-feel, it loses some of its merit. FOT was shit.
True.
There were hardly any post-nuclear atmosphere in Fallout 2. I haven't gotten far with Wasteland yet, but it's good so far. I've only played the demo version of Fallout Tactics, that was more than enough for me.
yeah, i voted for it... it was lookin pretty sad up there ..all unwanted.
Actually, i can't believe how vehemently some people dislike this game. I realize it has none of the role-playing depth of fallout and fallout II, but instead of that is real-time combat; not ok radscorp moves 5 spaces, next radscorp moves 6 spaces swings once, rat moves 6 spaces.... and so on.
Ideally, i would like to see the next FO game be a mixture of the two styles: a deep role-playing game like the first two, but with the real-time play like tactics had.
I have to wonder.. was it that Tactics was missing the the depth of story/quests the reason why so many despise the game? or was it just that they dared make a game that wasn't FO3?
