It's best not to question why anybody does anything.

Probably the SEKRAT section for registered users only. How do you get in there?

Attack of the 50ft knockers

Actually, strapon, this is 50's sci-fi where radiation makes everything abnormally huge.

I think the real question is - why aren't they larger and dragging on the ground behind them?

I love the ??? character. Thats the only thing coming from the 50s. Batman style. The global site design remind me of the superhero Toxic Man, and the Cyrus guy looks like a Quake3 character. Also, why are all men ugly as shit, head down, dirty cloth, and women are right standing, pink cloth, etc?

How could there possibly be new and improved versions when Mariposa was where the FEV virus was being worked on after it was moved from West Tech?
You know, I had the excact same thought yesterday in #Fallout...

I wanted to post something in the forum about it, but they closed it down.
They load up a site full of shit, then take down the forum so no one could say anything bad about it... Chucky smart.

People got a lot of nasty stuff in before they closed it. Looks like their MEDIA BLOW OUT actually blew up in their faces via that forum.

Really, I think the only way they could possibly promote this game now is, SEE HOW AWFUL THIS THING ACTUALLY IS FOR YOURSELF! because all the standard things have fizzled and fried. Any time they try to pimp this game, it does nothing but enrage the public more and more.

i still feel a little bad for the developers working on this since it's going to bomb so bad and then they won't have jobs. Some of them aren't to blame. I mean the artwork isn't bad quality. Just isn't what anyone wants to see in a Fallout title.

They're making Full Throttle 2. It'll be an action game and it'll suck.

i'm more dissapointed in FOBOS than FT2 tho... althought they're both trying to appeal to a totally different (less mature) audience than their original. They're pushing FT2 as full of beer and violence for the heck of it.

But also, some of the screens seem to show it as an action-y game.

I think Full Throttle 2 looks pretty cool, actually. Riding the bike was always my favorite part, and it looks like they preserved it rather well. The models and textures could use a little work.

You're missing the point, Max. Full Throttle is an adventure game, not an action game. That's not to say that a motorcycle riding action game would be bad, but it shouldn't bear the name Full Throttle. Gee, does this remind anyone of another game that's gotten a bad spin-off...?

However, I don't know all the details on Full Throttle yet, so I'm not going to judge it. It may yet give a solid adventure experience, I just don't know.

Adventure games are pretty much dead, and I don't think they could ever replicate what made the original Full Throttle so cool. As long as they keep the characters and atmosphere the same it could be a first person shooter for all I care. That's my point.

Besides, it's not even a franchise. How many years ago was FT1 released? And how many gamers today know what it is? Fallout is reasonably well known and has been milked to death. Lucas Arts barely touched Full Throttle. I'm sick of sequels expected to be identical to the originals.

They shouldn't be totally different, either. I just don't want to see a Full Throttle action game when the adventure genre needs some really solid games to come out now to show people that adventure games are still fun.
